"You're pregnant?!" Gabriel barked when he and Melody were alone outside. After Melody broke the news to both he and Noelle, Noelle was disgusted and outraged, telling them to "make up your damn mind" about if they want a divorce or another kid. Gabriel was enraged, too, as he had no idea.
"Oh like this is all my fault," she crossed her arms over her chest and her hip stuck out to the side.
"Well you didn't seem particularly upset about it," he crossed the other side of the patio.
"Should I be? This is the most exciting thing to happen to me ever since you gave up on our marriage."
"Don't even go there," his eyebrows knitted and his blood levels rose.
"Well what now? Because I'm pregnant and the kid is not going away and no don't even propose the idea of an abortion to me."
"We're getting a divorce, Melody."
She exhaled.
"Just tell me now. Do you want to raise this child with me or not?"
Gabriel pondered it for a minute.
"This is not my fault. We didn't plan on this and I am the dad to this child, but I can't be a father," he finally said, not daring to make eye contact, although he could feel her hurting from across the deck. A pregnant pause ensued before Melody spoke.
"Fine. I'll be out of the house next week. With all my kids," she stormed in the house.
