Intruders

Your Pov: I was resting in my room like the doctor had told me to. I was still wondering why kylo had come to visit since he seemed to hate me so much. I wanted to get up to go and see Hux but disobeying orders would just piss him off even more. I continued to lay in bed hoping someone would visit , I would even take a droid if nothing else. Then the alarms started to blare throughout the entire base. I ran out into the hallway as the alarms kept blaring causing my headache to get worse. I stumbled using one hand to lean against the wall and the other to clutch my head. The headache was making it difficult to concentrate. I pushed myself off of the wall and continued down the hallway. IN the distance I could hear screams and blaster fire, the smell of smoke and burnt flesh filling my nose. I rushed to find Hux. He would be one of the main targets and I had to make sure he was safe.

I continued to run down the hall and came face to face with some resistance fighters. I took my fighting stance as two of them rushed me. I grabbed one by his collar and threw him into the wall. The other tried to rush me from behind while I was distracted. I could feel the movement of his body, the rush of air, and the energy radiating off his body. I quickly turned and placed a hand on his stomach and the other on his chest grabbing him and pushing him over my head throwing him. He landed with a dull thud on the floor. The other two men looked at me and then to their fellow comrades stunned on the floor. One quickly pulled out a blaster and shot at me while the other rushed me. The blaster grazed my shoulder and I cried out in pain clutching my shoulder. While I was distracted with my wound the other man tackled me to the floor. I could feel his weight crushing down on me and his hot breath in my face as he kept me pinned to the floor. The wound in my shoulder was really starting to bleed now and it was starting to drip onto the floor. The man pulled me to my feet and then began helping the other men stand. They started talking amongst themselves " we should kill her she could jeopardize everything." They turned toward me, I tried to run but two of the men grabbed me before I could get away.

They pushed me down onto my knees , one holding my hands behind my back the other tilting my head up. I felt the blaster against my temple the coldness of the metal making me shiver. I stared at the man holding the gun and looked into his eyes immediately noticing his doubt. HIs eyes turned from anger to sorrow. I heard a voice in my head as if I could hear his thoughts. ( don't kill her... shes innocent, but she isn't though. But if I kill her I'm no better than the first order. ) I closed my eyes waiting for him to make his decision and then the gun was gone. I heard some distressed grunts and then shouting " its the general!! Kill him!!". My eyes shot open and I saw Hux fighting off the men. He had his blaster and shot one bringing him down his now lifeless body hitting the floor. The man who couldn't kill me chose to flee however the other two still chose to fight. I tried to pick myself up but collapsed back onto the floor I hadn't realized the amount of blood I had actually lost.

I looked over at Hux as he continued to fight wishing I could help him. One man went behind hux and pulled out his blaster getting ready to shoot him while his back was turned. I screamed and held out my hand not really knowing why. I expected a scream to come from him or even a grunt or the sound of his body hitting the floor, but nothing. I opened my eyes and stared in amazement and confusion. The laser from the gun was stopped midway in the air. I kept my arm out figuring that's what was doing it. Hux turned around to kill the other man and came face to face with the laser. The man also stared in shock at the laser and dropped his blaster. Hux went around it and walked over to the man he smirked down at him " you will never defeat the first order." Hux did not give him a quick death with his blaster but instead took out a knife and sliced the mans throat causing him to choke on his own blood. The gurgling sounds caused me to turn the other way.

The laser still in the air shot forward into the wall. Hux lazily turned his head to look at the wall and then back at me. I stared at him as he walked over to me and held out his hand. I gladly took it as he helped me up, he wrapped his arms around me and embraced me " I thought I lost you." I hugged him back "you could never loose me Brendol." Suddenly some stormtroopers ran around the corner and immediately stopped to salute Hux. "Sir we have pushed the resistance back and they are beginning to flee." Hux turned to acknowledge the trooper "good work go report to the other officers as well and check for any wounded." The trooper saluted again "yes sir" and marched off.

Hux walked me to the medical bay and had me sit in a private room. "wait here". I nodded my head and watched as he left the room. I sat on the bed and began kicking my legs and humming waiting for hux to come back. A few minutes later he came back into the room with the doctor and a man I didn't know. The man was dressed like kylo with the dark robes and the mysterious mask and all. I gave hux a questioning look " let the doctor examine you and then ill explain." I nodded my head as the doctor looked me over and checked my vitals. He wrapped my shoulder and gave me some medicine "make sure you take this every day and rest ." I nodded. The doctor had a quick word with Hux and then gave us the room.

Hux walked over and put a hand on my shoulder "(y/n) this is one of the knights of ren." I continued to stare in confusion. Hux gestured for him to explain further. The man stepped forward looming over you " I am Malak Ren a member of the knights of Ren, I came because the general has informed me you might be force sensitive." I looked from one to the other (well that would explain a lot.) Hux stepped forward " I'm worried for you and even though kylo is Malaks master he has agreed to not share this information with kylo or the rest of the knights. I was trying to wrap my head around everything that was happening " why cant Ren know?" The two looked at one another " kylo is a very hurt and broken person and acts very recklessly he would not hesitate to recruit you and could hurt or kill you in the process." Hux gave him a look of approval at what he was saying I frowned " But what if he finds out we hid this from him wont that make it worse?"

The knight turned his masked face to hux and then back to you "yes but not for you , I would be severely punished or killed and Hux would most likely meet the same fate." Hux immediately cut in " But it is completely necessary to do this." I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I tried to argue but hux held up his hand " we will eventually tell him but not now, Malak will help you until we tell kylo." I stared down for a second then looked back at hux " soooo this is like prepping me before kylo finds out?" Hux nodded " yes, I don't want him killing you." Now I was starting to understand. Malak took another step forward and took my hand " ill protect you as much as I can." he then nodded at hux and left the room. Hux sat on the bed " it'll be ok (y/n)" I looked up at him and embraced him as tight as you could. I berried my face in the crook of his neck " brendol I'm scared." he stroked your hair " I know but ill always be here to protect you little sister."
