Dark Touch

Chapter 1

He pulled me down on to my bed! Then out of nowhere's Baxter came to save me! "Leave her alone Deumus!" He yelled. Deumus's horns started to get bigger.

But Deumus only laughed and said out of humor, "No, you think it is that easy", then his voice got louder and serious,"If you try to take her from me I will fucking kill her and you!!" Then Baxter looked at how wounded I was and winked. That's when I knew everything was going to be OK and also knew it was my time. I started beating Deumus up and got my ass up.

"Get off me you bitch!" he yelled. He then got his gun and pointed it at me far behind, but instead of shooting at me he shot at Baxter. Baxter took a bullet for me! I thought.

"No!" I yelled as I ran to him,"Your going to be OK," I wistfully said while sobbing.

"It's not your fault Lori!" He told me while smiling as a single tear fell down his left cheek. Blood was all over the wooden floor and I my hands were smothered in his blood. Then I looked back to see if Deumus was there,but he was gone. The last time I saw Baxter was when the doctors got him ready for his surgery to take out the bullet out of his stomach and Deumus was never to be found.

It's been a six months after Baxter's death. Its been so lonely ever since he died. Liam and Jack haven't been around because of their guardian duties. Then I heard a knock on the door.

I opened to see Liam's and Jack's dirty faces, ''OMG I haven't seen you guys in like forever!"

"I know, sorry," they said in unison. Their clothes were drenched in oil and dirt.

"What happened to you guys?" I asked.

"Let's just say we were doing dirty work," Liam replied. I went to go get soap and towels. Then I let them in.

"We need to tell you something very major," they both said seriously, "we know it's been hard without Baxter around but we can't help you anymore."

I said furiously,"WHAT!"

"Take her boys," the commander said with a grin on his face.

"No!" I yelled trying to resist their hands cuffs.

  "Sorry Lori," they said but they didn't need to say sorry, I understood why they were doing this to me. Its for the best, for me,Liam and Jake. Why don't they just kill me? Do they need me for a war that's coming? I thought, because I am most certainly not going to help them I am on nones side. They must be desperate if they need me. No matter what I say it doesn't help.

I still kept trying to resist them though,"Let me fucking go!"

The commander said as he held my face, "Saying that doesn't make your case any better," then he yelled, "so fucking shut up!"

When we got to the guardian clouds. They threw me into a cell box. And put me in droopy clothes. "Just kill me already isn't that why you brought me here! I am the dark angel!"

"No! Then we would of killed you along time ago!'' He yelled trying to not laugh at what I said ,"you know exactly why we brought you here,don't play dumb." Then why did they put me here? Did someone frame me?, I thought,I need to know. Then they closed the cellar door. Before he left saying, "This is not over. Use your options wisely."

What options? My only options are to die or live? What other options do I have? I thought hard and strong about it. Until I heard a voice, "It's hard not to feel unwanted, right? No one understands you."

 I just thought the voice was in my head playing with me. Then I heard the voice again, "Doesn't it hurt? Answer my fucking questions!"

Then I realized the person was real, "I actually gotten used to it. However, I do want to tear this place apart and show them who I really am!"

"They are the assholes not us we are the good ones! Right?" The mysterious voice asked, but I didn't know how to answer the question.

"Before my 16 birthday I would always think I am going to be just like my parents and be their little hero," tears started going down my rosy cheeks and kept talking screaming in my head, ''to make them happy, show them I care about guardians.'' Then she looked at me, her face was bruised and drenched in dried blood. I wanted to ask what happened to her but I was too scared what her answer was going to be.

It felt like she read my mind because she said," They gave me a few slashes,but if you obey them nothing will happen to you.'' I didn't say anything, but I looked at her scared. Not knowing what to say to her. Just thinking about it makes me sick, but I am the Dark Angel I could do anything to the Commander, I thought, I will end this, whatever it takes.

"How did you get in here?" I inquired, looking even more worried than ever of what her response was going to be.

Then she replied,"I live with Hades," when she said that I was thinking, No she can't be living with Hades, but then she looked at me serious and nodded, then I thought this world is crazy, ''and I got into some trouble, but I don't want to talk about it.''

"But why? I won't tell anybody,'' I said looking at her smiling trying to reassure her.

''I just don't,'' I could hear her voice get louder but I would risk it.

"Come on."

"No! Fucking God!" Her voice was must've broke her lungs because it was so loud. I need to know why she won't tell me. What is she scared of? Then the guards came and took her. But to where? I have all these questions and I need to find the answers.

The first picture is Deumus the pervert demon  if you had read Dark Angel by Darkest Rose Deumus is Marcus! And I wanted him to be a demon because he is evil!
