Dark Touch

Chapter 7

   I could hear horrifying screams from every angle of my ear. However, I could see only pitch black. I was blindfolded and being dragged somewhere. Lori was all I could think of. How she is? Where she is? I anxiously thought.  I had to do something. 

   I decided to speak up, ''Theo is that you? Listen, please don't hurt her. She isn't involve in this. This is family business,'' I cried out, but got no response, ''PLEASE! Don't you fucking hurt her!,'' I yelled out, but still no answer. A door that sounded like a cell opened and I was pushed into it. Someone then took off my blindfold. 

  Theo was standing in front of me with the biggest smirk on his face and for some reason he started laughing, ''HAHAHAHA! You are ridiculous,'' He took a pause before continuing then begun again, ''you think that is love? Ace has fallen in love again. Haven't you learned your lesson from before big brother?'' He now had the biggest smile on his face. I bet I looked like a fool because I didn't know what the hell he was talking about. 

  ''What the hell are you talking about?'' He didn't answer, ''Theo what the fuck did you do?'' I asked aggressively. I wanted to get up and shove him to a wall, but I have lost too much blood. 

  ''Short-tempered as always. You haven't changed a bit Ace, but I have. I'm the one who did the dirty deed to your precious angel. You should see your face right now, it is hysterical, '' He was having fun with me weak and confused. 

  ''No Theo you didn't,'' I couldn't believe it. This can't be my little brother, but then I looked at his face. His eyes loved seeing me in pain. His smirk very bloodthirsty. This was Theo a sweet, caring and innocent boy. Theo very angry, vengeful and full of hatered. This is who is now, but I can't accept that. Then he showed me. 

  ''AHHHH! Let me go you fucker!'' A woman yelled out.

 ''It would be easier if you didn't move for you, but more fun for me,'' Theo told the women with a grin. Blood splashed on the camera and on the wall as he cut off her arms and head and sucked the life out of her. 

  ''No! That's not you Theo. It can't--'' Before I could finish, Theo interrupted me. 

  ''Oh, but we haven't even gotten to the best part,'' He then resumed the video. Theo looked at the camera and spoke to me through the phone, ''Ace I know some day you will find this video and not believe it. See that is what is wrong with you. You never know when to let go. This is who I am now and I've never felt so powerful in my life. IT'S FUCKING AWSOME! I did kill your angel or should I say demon.'' The video ended with him laughing.

  All I could feel was hatred and rage as I yelled to him as he walked away, ''I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU! YOU HEAR ME THEO I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!'' 

 Lori

  I could hear Ace's voice fade out of existence and see glimpse of him and in my delusional, call the man capturing me, his brother. I tried calling out for him, for Ace, but nothing came out. I've lost so much blood I couldn't even speak. My whole body was numb, but Ace's supposed brother kept beating me up in a cell. I couldn't feel the pain anymore. I couldn't do anything, so I let him at it. I didn't care anymore. 

 Then I could hear her voice call out for me, ''Lori come on it's time to wake up! LORI!'' Her voice awaken me. I slide my leg around, knocking him out on his ass. 

  ''Wow! What a surprise. HAHAHA! This is gonna be fun,'' Even when knocked down he is still amused. His swings were fast. I don't know how much longer I can dodge them. I still was at the lost of blood and still woozy, but I had to keep going to survive. 

 ''To go back home to her!" I yelled as I smashed him down to the ground. Then I was unconscious.  The blow took all my strength. I thought it was enough, but when I woke up I was in the cell alone and he was looking inside.

  ''You can't escape me, honey. Apparently neither can your boyfriend. I got him too, but since I'm so nice I put him in the cell across from you.'' It was like he was proud of himself or something. It was sickening. He just walked away with a grin as Ace yelled at him. I was shocked because Ace now wanted to kill his 'brother'. 

  ''Ace, is he really your brother?'' I asked quickly to him, ''I need to know.''

  ''Yes, he is my younger brother.'' He couldn't even look at me as he admitted that this man is indeed his brother. It was like he was ashamed. I could tell he was trying to hold back his tear also. 

  ''Ace you don't have to be ashamed. It isn't your fault.'' I told him looking at him wistfully. He didn't respond at my comment. He only turned his back on me.

Ace

  I can't let her see me like this, I thought to myself. She would think I'm weak. I have to be strong around her. I only care about her. I will protect her at any cost, I must. What sounded like a alarm started going off. The guards then started escaping to the exit with weapons, leaving us behind. Out of no where gunfire started going off and screams. Me and Lori just looked at each other, worried. I could hear the sound of a knife go SLASH! close to us. Then I heard a familiar voice.

  ''How did y 'all--'' Before I could finish my question, Sypha (my witch friend) interrupted me.

  ''You didn't think we would notice? Come on Ace you know me better than that,'' Sypha shockingly was smiling. I haven't seen her smile in ages. Ariel was of course with her too and seemed to be eyeballing Lori. 

   I didn't even notice I was staring until Sypha spoke up, ''Hey we have to go now, before they come back,''  We started running as fast we could, but me and Lori were badly hurt and they had to help us walk. Sypha tried helping with her healing powers, but she always had an issue concentrating so it was working slowly.  

   Then a voice spoke behind us, ''Well, well. What do we have here?'' We locked behind and saw Theo and my father standing with crossed arms and their signature grin. I could tell Sypha was getting ready to fire her magic, but stopped her and whispered to her that they were my targets. 

  Before she could tell me it was too dangerous I spoke up, ''So your just gonna capture us again? Act like we aren't family?'' Then I heard laughter. They were laughing , maybe even tearing up over their humor. They thought this was funny, that this was a joke. It made me so pissed off. I tried transforming, but nothing was working. 

   ''You idiot. It won't work because your body is focused on healing.'' Theo looked at me crazy as he told me before he transformed. Sypha looked at me with sorry eyes. As she was protecting us I finally put the pieces together. She disabled my powers. 

  ''WHY?!'' I was so mad she wasn't answering me so I sucked the power out of her, ''This is my fight!'' That was the first time I saw Lori scared of me.  What the fuck was I turning into? I could her power eat me alive like I was gauging down blood. 

  ''Sorry, but Ace I can't let you do this. You can't go into this alone. It's not fair, I deserve revenge too because he hurt you,'' She then gave me this upset grunge look that persuaded me.  I grabbed her hand and starting chanting with her to wound Theo at most. in the middle of the chanting I had this this feeling that Sypha was bleeding from overexerting herself, but I had to defeat Theo, if making her push herself  was the only way then fine. I could hear Theo in screeching 

   Until Lori opened her big mouth, ''Sypha you need to stop. You are going to kill yourself if you continue,'' I could feel her glare on me, ''Ace stop her,'' I kept going not caring about none in the world. This wasn't about Lori anymore. It was all about me getting my revenge for myself. 

 ''That is it!'' Ariel yelled as she intervened too. But before she could stop us, my father, the commander  knocked out Ariel and Lori by ordering the guards to with a special needle. 

   Theo gasped out a few words to our father, ''Father...what....are...you....doing?''

   ""Sorry son, but this was gonna come sooner or later. I knew he had a little witch friend. I've been spying on you Ace for quite some time. I knew the only way for her to truly die the cruelest way is by you killing her by letting her overexert herself from your anger towards your little brother. Which Theo has to die and you become my new slave,'' I wasn't angry with Theo. I kind of felt bad for him, but no I can't feel this.

  'YOU ALL HAVE TO FUCKING DIE! EVERYONE!'' I yelled with this crazy open eyed look. They have to all go no matter what the casualties were gonna end up to be.
