"Tionne come on." I yelled out of frustration. I sure as hell didn't wanna hear anything about being late, but with Tionne that's sometimes impossible.

"I'm coming, shit." Once she got out of the doorway, I examined her outfit. The only thing I recognized from her closet was the baggy Khaki's and McDonalds shirt.

Tionne had diamonds in her ears, a platinum gold watch and red and black air Jordan's. I know that all the money we made was suppose to be going towards school or some shit we're saving up for.

"Where'd you get all that from?" I asked with a hand propped on my hip. She sucked her teeth and ran down the stairs and past by me, going down the sidewalk.

"Come on for we be late Lefty." Rolling my eyes I caught up with her.

"Yo, I'm serious. Where the hell did you get the money to buy that?"

"None of yo business." Tionne replied while rolling her neck. One of the few things that ticked me off.

"Look if you touched any of that money in our savings acc-"

  "Chill Lisa, I didn't touch the money."

"Mm, so where'd you get the money to get that?"

"Money? I ain't got no money. Dalvin bought me this." I rose my eyebrow, as we approached the entrance of McDonalds.

"Damn Tionne. What's he doing to have that much money?"

"He won't tell me, shit ion need to know."

In my opinion Tionne sounded dumb. That nigga could've stole all the shit on her, and she would never know. I wondered why she was even with him. As far as I could see, he had no job, no ambitions, dropped out of school and when he was in school he played every single girl. Scrub ass.

I walked into the back to clock in and put my pager and things in my mini cubbie. As I slid on my apron, I heard footsteps, and looked up to see Boss, walking in with some girl on his arms.

"This is Lisa Lopes and you'll be working with her until you've got the hang of everything."

"So she's gonna train me?"

"Um boss, what's this?" I said, reffering to the mysterious girl. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Hi, I'm Rozonda Thomas." She said while reaching her hand out for me to shake. I returned her smile and shook her hand.

"Lisa I want you and Tionne to work with Rozonda until she has the hang of everything."

Tionne turned around and rose her eyebrow.

"Why me?"

Boss furrowed his eyebrows, indicating that she needed to calm her tone. I had gotten that look so many times.

"Well because I said you." He said, trying to keep his composure.

"I'm Ro-"

"I heard your name." Tionne replied, then sucked her teeth while rolling her eyes. Rozonda maintained her smile and stuck her hand out for Tionne to shake.

Tionne stood there staring at her hand. I felt embarrassed for her. She awkwardly put her hand down by her side. To be honest, Tionne was very reserved. When she met me, she was open arms, But since I've seen her meet other people it's been different. Her and Aaliyah are cool now, not as close as me and her.

"Um, well it's great meeting you two."

"Enjoy your day of work Ms. Thomas." Boss said before turning around and leaving the back room.
