Family Reunites?

Chapter 6

My dad.

"Dad?" I asked with a shocked look on my face.

"Hi baby girl." My dad said standing up because he has been sitting on the couch. My dad always called me that because I was his baby, his little girl.

"W-what are you doing here?" I said while getting teary eyed.

He looked at my mom, she smiled, then back at me. "I'm coming home!" With those words he opened up his arms, which caused me to drop everything in my hands and ran and attack my dad with hugs and kisses. My mom soon joined the hug which made it a somewhat family hug. (My brother was missing and I really missed him I wish he would come back soon.)

"I wish Cameron was here for the group hug." I sadly said.

"I know sweetie us too." I mom also sadly said. I felt a tear fall from happiness of seeing my dad home again but also sadness because my brother is my only sibling and I truly love and miss him.

"Who said I wasn't?" A familiar voice said from behind me. My mom squealed and covered her mouth. I knew that voice it changed a little from the last time I saw him but I still can identify that voice. Cameron!

"Cameron?" I asked while breaking away from the hug and turning around. "Cameron!" I repeated in excitement. I covered my mouth and felt tears fall down my cheeks. I ran towards him, I jumped on him and squeezed the life out of him. He was a little taken back by my actions so he stumbled backwards when I first jumped on him, but caught himself and hugged me back even tighter. (Just to catch you up, if you read 'A Little About The Characters' you know that Cameron is a baseball player that is 17, which means he is a senior in high school. He has not graduated yet so he was not gone at college. He left to go life with my dad when my parents split up. He chose to live with my dad because the high school by my dads house had a great baseball program, better one then he was going to get living here. I would see him every two to three years if I was lucky, he would try to come visit my mom and I but couldn't due to always being busy so when I went there I just sat in his apartment with his roommate or see my dad or even sometimes my brothers girlfriend would take me out to go shopping or something. He moved out of my dads house and got his own apartment with his friend.)

"Hey Loren, happy to see me?" Cameron asked.

"Yea." I said while pulling away from the hug and wiping my tears of joy. "How are you here?" I asked

"Well baseball ended as of now, so I have a month off. Also everyone, I brought a surprise!" He said in his little kid happy tone, while jumping up an down. We all shared a laugh at Cameron's little happy dance.

"What is it sweetheart?" My mom questioned.

"I brought a very special person here, that I want all of you to meet." He said whiling starting to open the door. I hope its Cameron's girlfriend, I like her a lot I can really connect with her. She understands me. 

He opened the door to revel... a dog? What the heck!? Its a beautiful dog but I want to see Beth. 

"Where is Beth?" I asked curious. I probably shouldn't of tho.

"While-..." Cameron started.

A/N: Short chapter sorry guys lol, I'm writing this on my computer right now and I found out that it is extremly hard to type with very long fake nails lol next chapter should been at least 1000 words thank u guys for being awesome and reading this.
