Chapter 9
Joey said that he wants me to meet someone. I wonder who it is? I grabbed my phone and told my brother where I was going then off to Joey's house went. I knocked on the door and a girl opened?
"Uh hi is Joey here?" I asked while trying to look around her for Joey.
"Yeah, who are you?" She asked, is this his girlfriend he was telling me about?
"Loren, his best friend. You?" She is really pretty but agh, no she's pretty and I'm a potato.
"Sam. Nice to meet you." She said while sticking her hand out for me to shake. I accepted and Joey came up.
"Hey Loren! Come on in." He said while Sam backed away and Joey held the door open for me to walk through. "I see you two already meet." He said to both of us.
"Yeah." We said in union.
"This is my cousin." He said pointing to Sam. He never told me this before. "I didn't know her tell like a month after you left, I meet her at a family reunion." He said and they both smiled. Oh thank god, that made me feel a little better.
After hanging out for about an hour Joey fell asleep while watching a movie.
"We should prank him." Sam whispered to me. I smiled back and we went to the kitchen.
"What should we do?" I asked.
"Get some warm water in a bowl and then we will stick his hand in there and he should wet himself." She stated while getting everything ready. Omg this girl is like my other half, Liz would love her.
"Great idea." I said while filling up the bowl.
We grabbed the bowl full of warm water and a towel then made our way back to a sleeping Joey.
"Ready?" she whisper asked me.
"Yeah." I whispered back.
She picked his hand up gently and placed it in the water. All of a sudden Joey jumped up making the water spill on me mostly and a little bit on Sam.
"JOEY!!!" We yelled in union.
"Omg backfire!" He yelled while laughing.
We cleaned up and decided to go swimming. This Sam girl is so fun to be around. She is supper pretty too. She was dark brown hair that ends at her shoulders, brown eyes, and light skin. I learned that she lived in New York with her mom, dad, and younger brother. Her favorite color is blue, she has two dogs and her parents want to get a third. I feel a beautiful friendship coming
