the word i kept in my heart for a long time.. the word that changed my mentality...

i was drunk again that same night... One lady attracted my sight..

She's wearing a blue jacket.. and a polkadot skirt... red and white...

Polka beauty.. I remember Maddison when we're in the playground before... Our spot is the swing... We're always there when she's not okay.. I was there with her when her nightmares chase her... I'm also there when everytime she's asleep.. she's saying "daryl".. i was there to feel her pain.. i was there to sacrifice my time.. but all she thinks is Daryl.. All the time when her nightmares come.. Expect the name "Daryl" it sucks like hell!! I am here.. but she wants Daryl!

Here I am... Staring at her.. i wish she could love me back... i wish she'll return to her past self.. when i was that dumbass playboy with i-dont-care attitude about everything... and she will be my hero..

you know guys don't always have to be the hero..

so i came back to my own self.. The legendary playboy of every bar.. I came back from Cebu.. and there I met Jess. the bartender and owner of small bar.. He knew what I kept in me.. I told him everything... I know he won't laugh at me

I saw her moving.... So I stood up.. After 2 days..

Pretended to be okay..

" You're awake...i'll just call the doctor.."

" Doctor?? who are you mister? "

" W-what? W-wait for me here "

I stepped outside... Wondering why she asked questions like that?! She had an accident.. a truck bumped her.. Jess said she was there at the bar waiting for me.. She drunk liquor.. From light ones to hard... She even left her minnie mouse hanky... The hanky I gave her on her birthday... I didn't bother to go near her... She might tease me with the 'hand mark' on my cheek.

She was the one... The one who slapped me.. The one whom I let my hand travel up and down her legs.. the one who called me 'maniac'

I called Daryl.. i want him to know what Maddie really feels.. That it's him all along... It is still him.. But we didn't have a time to talk.. He texted and said that Coreen is having an asthma attack.. I didn't know about that...

I just stared at her... It's dark in my place,, she can't see me.. But I can see her..

I noticed some guys talking.. I know she's referring to Maddie.. To my angel.. I knew there will be time that I may punch one to his face.. So I did.. I was damn protective!! She doesn’t even know it! Damn Adrian!!!

" Mr. Lewis? "

" Doc? How's she? "

" I'm sorry mr. Lewis.. but her memory isn't good for now.. She's having an amnesia due to her traumatic memories.. But this amnesia is just temporary... "

" How about her wounds? "

" It's recovering.. maybe after 2 days.. She can be discharged.. Goodbye mr. Lewis.. Ms. Perez.. You're doing good. "

The doctor left. 2 more days with her? I can make use of that... To let her love me... Just once..
