Chapter 8

We had already got hair dye and a guitar. She had spent ages choosing the guitar. She really knew her stuff.
Currently we were in a tattoo parlour. We had Wren who was my usual tattoo artist and he's reliable. Trustworthy too.
Spencer had chosen Yin and Yang matching tattoos. I had the Yin tattoo wrapped. She was having the Yang. Both tattoos on our forearms. Even though her tattoo was pretty much finished she was still sitting with her eyes closed and wincing at the last few details. We both had quotes underneath. Her's was Roll Like Thunder and mine was Burn Like Stars.
"Okay all done. Take a quick look and then I'll wrap it. I'm sure Andy will tell how to care for it. I've tattooed him enough." Wren said. She opened her eyes. Spencer gasped.
"It looks awesome. It's great. Thanks." She replied.
"I'm not sure what Jinxx is gonna say." I stated.
"Doesn't he know?" Wren asked.
"No. I'm 17 and I can do whatever the fuck I want." Spencer said.
"She persuaded me." I added.
"That's $200. How are they? The last one your sort of lot is Luke Hemmings. About three months ago actually. Got a date on his collarbone and some quote. First tattoo apparently." Wren said.
"Oh okay. I think I know why." I replied. Spencer sat still as Wren wrapped her tattoo.
"What happened to the girl?" Spencer asked.
"Annabeth? Committed suicide. Ashton's bitch of a girlfriend happened." Wren answered.
"Ex girlfriend. Broke up with her a few days after her death." I interjected.
"She had only just found two out of three siblings. Gerard and Mikey are looking for their little sister." Wren continued.
"I remember the My Chemical Romance reunion at her birthday." I added.
"I haven't seen my siblings in about 4-5 years." Spencer said.
"Did you know her?" Wren asked.
"What's her last name?" Spencer asked.
"Way. Annabeth Way." I answered.
"You've got to fucking kidding me because that's my sister." Spencer spat. She got up and walked out the parlour. I gave Wren the money and murmured an apology before going after her.
