Chapter 42

*3 months later*
"Wake up." Gerard said shaking my shoulders. I groaned a little as Gerard pulled back my covers. I stretched a little.
"What?" I growled.
"Breakfast is in 15 minutes then we have to get to the memorial."Gerard replied. I nodded. We flew to Sydney two days ago for the memorial of Beth's death. It was just Andy, Gerard, Mikey and I that flew in. We were staying with the 5sos boys.
"Luke said he chose something of Beth's for you to wear." Gerard added.
"Does he have it?" I asked.
"Yes."  Gerard answered. I swung my legs over the edge of the bed and placed my feet firmly on the floor. Gerard walked out of my room and closed the door behind him. I crouched down by my case and grabbed my makeup bag. I sat on the chair by the mirror. I put on very little makeup before pattering down to Luke's room. I knocked on the door and opened it. Luke looked up at me.
"Apparently you have something for me." I said.
"Yeah. Treat it carefully." Luke said. He picked up a short plaid skirt, a white sleeveless shirt, knee high socks and a leather jacket.
"Do you have some black high top converse?" Luke asked. I nodded.
"Wear those." Luke said. I took the clothes and walked back to my room. I quickly changed and grabbed my converse before running downstairs to the table. A plate of steaming chocolate chip waffles sat in my place. Everyone was down here but Luke.
"Calum make these?" I asked with my mouth full.
"They're Cal's specialty." Ashton said with a smile.
"They're really good Calum." I said.
"Thanks." Calum replied quietly.
"How many people are there gonna be?" I asked.
"Us, Michael's and Calum's girlfriends and Beth's friends from school." Mikey replied. I nodded.
"What are their names?" I asked.
"Ezra, Lex, Jupiter, Blade and Phoenix. All guys. 17 years old."Mikey answered. I nodded.
"How do you know so much?" I asked.
"Homeroom teacher." Mikey answered. Luke ran down the stairs and walked up behind me. He grabbed an apple out of the bowl. He had a vase tucked under his arm.
"Ready to go?" He asked.
"Think we are." Michael answered. We all nodded. Ashton got up and grabbed the car keys.
"Lets go." Ashton said. We all followed them out to the car and we piled into the car.

The car stopped in a lay by a bridge. Luke gave me the vase as we got out.
"They're waiting for us on the bridge." Calum said. I took Andy's hand as we walked down the bridge.
"Why are we here?" Andy asked.
"This is where Beth died." Ashton choked up. Further down the bridge I saw seven figures. They walked down to us.
"Hi." One of the girls said. She hugged everyone but me and Andy.
"I'm Khloe and this is Chelsea." She said.
"I'm Spencer and this is Andy. I'm Gerard and Mikey's sister. Andy's my fiancé." I replied. Both of them hugged me tightly.
"I'm Ezra. This is Lex, Jupiter, Blade and Phoenix." One of the guys said.
"I like your outfit. I remember Beth wearing that to school. God she got in so much trouble." Phoenix complimented. I smiled.
"I think we should do this. Get it over and done with." Luke said.
"You should throw the ashes Spencer." Mikey said. I nodded and walked up the railings. I opened up the vase and gave the lid to Gerard. I put in my hand and took out a handful of ashes. I cast it out over the edge.
"Goodbye sis. I miss you." I whispered as I felt tears prickle my eyes. Gerard put his arms around me.
"You'll see her soon. We all will." He whispered in my ear. The tears spilled down my cheeks. I really hoped I would.
