Andy's POV
I followed Kellin out to the front gate as soon as the others left the kitchen. From the front door I could make out a woman gripping onto the gate. The closer we got the less she looked like Spencer.
"Where's my daughter? What have you done with her?" She asked.
"We have no minors living here ma'am. I think it's for the best if you leave before we have to call the police." I answered politely.
"She isn't a minor. She's 18." The woman replied.
"How are we supposed to know if she doesn't live here?" Kellin asked.
"My daughter is here. I'm sure of it. Please let me see her. All four of my children were taken away from me." The woman begged.
"You can't see her. Your daughter isn't here. If your children where taken away from you then I'm sure you have no right to see them. I think it's best if you leave or we'll have to call 911." I warned. The woman looked at us pleadingly.
"My daughter is here and you're restricting my rights of seeing her!" She screamed.
"What we're trying to explain to you ma'am is that you must have lost your rights to see your daughter when she was taken away from you. Your daughter isn't here. End of. If you don't leave now we call 911." Kellin said angrily.
"I'll prove that she's here. I will. This isn't the last of me." The woman said with tears in her eyes. She started walking away with her head held high. We watched her carefully as she walked down the street. I pulled out my phone and opened up mine and Spencer's text conversations. I quickly typed:
You guys can go back to the party. The woman's gone now.
Kellin and I walked back down the driveway and into the house. The party hadn't stopped. They probably didn't know anything happened. Kellin disappeared into the party and I saw the Way siblings walking down the stairs. Spencer looked a little shaken up but she saw me and smiled. She walked straight past me, hair a long train behind her as she walked. She gave a sweet smile as she went past. I watched her walk straight up to Ashley. I watched her guide him onto the dance floor. I watched her get closer and closer to him. Finally all I could see was red.
