You don't know what thing leads to what.
The deal I made with Jace, I don't know what'll it lead to. But at least I'll get some answers in return for my sweat that will come when I'm gonna be teaching him.
It was my strict decision not to involve myself with any bad boys or anyone popular for that matter.
But life has a way of throwing things at my face and that seriously came in a way that the bad boy was my building mate.
Okay, building mate was not a problem, but he would like to annoy me instead of taking me as a nerd or a good girl and ignoring me.
How to escape him one day is hard. He is in school with me so I see him for five days straight. On weekends he comes home to annoy me like he did last week when we made a deal.
I don't know how I was able to pass the weekend, with him being with me on the Friday, then on Saturday we had a family gathering with each other's family and finally on Sunday I had to help him with homework. And boy, was it bad.
So this weekend, here I am after another torturous week of school with Ariana in the mall. It's always fun with your best friend.
We're basically window shopping, but are gonna buy one dress each because, we gotta buy something. We're mostly going for pendants and simply going around the stores.
"Let's go in that one." Ariana points at one store where cute pendants can be seen shining.
"Let's go." I jump in the direction of the store, eager to see the cute pendants and charm bracelets.
Looking through them, I look around for a bracelet with the letter 'E' or and infinity sign. I love that sign.
I saw Ariana stop at one point and look at something, frozen in one place. Her face had a weird expression. One where nostalgia and memories bring sad emotions to the heart are mixed.
I walked over her to see her looking at a charm bracelet. It had an Eiffel tower and a kiss emoji, showing a message of love.
"It's so pretty." And she snapped out of it.
She looked at me, her eyes sparkled and then she blinked and all the emotions disappeared.
"Yeah." She whispered, looking down at it again. Then smiled looking at me.
"I can't find anything nice for me." I whined.
"Take this." She pushed a bracelet with a 'V' hanging on it.
"Why 'V'? My name starts with an 'E'." I stated, utterly confused.
"Valentino." She winked and I gasped, slapping her arm.
I turned to examine the rod for any good bracelets and one caught my eye.
It was simple. It was beaded completely with white pearls and there was an infinity symbol in the middle, finishing it.
I'm buying it. No more questions.
"This is pretty." I held it in front of Ariana's face.
"Oh my God. It is." Her eyes shone. Such blue electric eyes can never be found any where.
"Okay. Let's go." We went to the cashier.
