Exams.

I hate them. I feel like bringing back the person who created the system of exams and then electrocute them, then kill them again.

Rude, I know. But what else do you expect? I don't get the reason for exams.

Are the teachers so bad, or they know they teach bad, that they have to take our exams to see if we learned? Then make sure you have better teachings and courses for teachers. So we students don't suffer.

Coming out of the exam, I was sweating. It didn't feel like term examination, it also didn't feel like the preparation for finals. It felt like it was finals already. That's how scary the paper was and I was terrified. And scared for the results.

I walked out of the eerily silent school and across to the cafeteria for some hot chocolate goodness.

It was really silent in the school since the senior classes had exams and the others were given off.

The slurping sound echoed in the hallway as I made my way to the school cafeterià.

Many students sat and discussed the answers with each other and I don't like doing that so I looked around for an empty seat.

What caught my eye, made me pause to contemplate if I'm dreaming or something.

Jace was sitting there, his coffee cup place on the table, as he looked down at his lap looking at a book a furiously flipping pages of it.

I walked closer, with my mouth on the sipping hole as I let the steam in my mouth, because it was so cold, as I observed what he was reading, and gasped. This caught his attention and he looked up, immediately flipping the book close.

"Oh, hi there." He smiled and hurriedly stuffed his book in his bag and scooted over.

"Have a seat." He gestured towards the space beside him.

"Why, hello there. What were you doing?" I asked as I slumped beside him and took a loud, slurpy sip of my drink.

"Very lady like." He smirked, indicating to my obnoxious sip, and I rolled my eyes. "And I was doing nothing." He shrugged and avoided looking at me as he took his cup of coffee.

"What was that book then?" I smirked.

"Oh that? It was nothing." His ears tinged red as he laughed nervously.

"Woah! Are you blushing?" I mocked and looked at him with wide eyes.

"No." He responded and took a sip of his drink, looking anywhere else but at me.
