Hey! I suggest that you listen to my playlist :)

***

I stare at my reflection in the mirror, watching as I glide the rouge lipstick over my moist lips.

Tonight, my family and I are going to have dinner at my father's luxurious restaurant, as it's Saturday night.

Nara, my five year old sister got super excited the second by dad announced his plan. She always loves my dad's surprised family nights.

I rub my lips together, transferring the red color on my bottom lips to the my top lips.

I smile softly, firmly putting the cap on the lipstick and setting it on my make up desk.

I brush my hair out of my face, patting it down to slightly flatten it. My eyes travel down my body, observing the sleek black dress hugging my body. It's slightly above my knees as has no straps, exposing my collarbone.

I've been in my room for a good hour, drying myself off after showering and struggling to find an appropriate outfit.

I'm certain that once I step foot out of my room, I'll be greeted by three frustrated and impatient faces.

Feeling satisfied enough, I flash another smile before walking towards the door. I twist the door knob swiftly and head out, my heels clicking as I walk towards the stairs.

"Mama, I'm ready"
I announce and hold on to the railing as I carefully walk down the steps. My mother has been calling my name nonstop, annoyance lacing through her voice. She must be all ready now.

In return, I'm only greeted by silence. I raise an eyebrow as I still walk steady down, heading towards the family hall. The sound of my heels against the wooden stairs is the only sound echoing through the house.

It's awfully quiet here.

"Mama! Nara!"
I raise my voice, waiting for a response. No response. By now, I'm starting to feel annoyed and disregarded.

I scoff once I stop by the door leading into the family hall, my eyebrows raised with curiosity. I hug the knob and increase my pressure on it. I narrow my eyes once the door knob flies back up to its original position, indicating that the door is locked.

We never lock the room's doors in the house.

I aggressively pull down the door knob again, curiosity and confusion building up within me.

"Nara! This isn't funny, open up"
A loud sigh escapes from my rouge lips as I raise my hand and begin knocking on the door repeatedly.

This is so odd. From our birth, we were both taught not to lock ourselves in rooms for our own safety and up to now, we've always obeyed. What has made her so mischievous?

"Open this door right now!"
I raise my voice, dominance and anger lacing through my words. My knocks become louder and louder, my knuckles beginning to hurt.

I call for my parents one more time, feeling my blood begin to boil. Why isn't anyone answering me?

To my surprise, the next time that I pull down on the door knob, it doesn't swing back up. Instead, the door opens ever so slightly, exposing the nearest corner of the hall.

I roll my eyes from annoyance, gently pushing the door open by pressing my palm against it.

The aura within the room seems unexpectedly cold and unwelcoming. With confusion, I step inside and I'm immediately greeted by an unfamiliar smell. The air is heavy and it makes it difficult for me to breathe. What the heck?

My gaze shifts from the wooden flooring up to the dining table at the center of the room.

My eyes light up once I see my family seated at the very end of the table across me. They are frozen in their positions, their heads hung low.

I tighten my eyebrows as I walk towards them, not a single one of them welcoming me.

"Na-"
I freeze in my spot once I'm close enough to notice a red liquid splattered all over her new dress.

My eyes widen and I zoom towards her, extending my arms out to touch her but I immediately jump back once I see the same red liquid smudged all over her timid body.

Her name unconsciously escapes from my quivering lips as I drop down to her level. My heart is beating right out of my chest as I examine her lifeless body slumped over the table, hot tears flooding my eyes.

My eyes travel from my sister to my parents, and I make the same priceless reaction, the tears streaming down my heated cheeks. They are all dead.

Who did this?

I part my lips to say something but nothing comes. I feel my knees weaken and I fall to the floor in disbelief and fear.

Right then, I hear the door swing open all the way only to slam against the wall behind it.

Someone else is here.
