We Meet Again [Kendall Schmidt Love Story]

Chapter 16

"So!" Kendall claps his hands once. "What do I get to do, Captain Stone?" 

"Well, Sir Schmidt. The first thing Alexa, you, possibly James, and I gotta do is to clean this place up," I smile.

"Clean? I thought we have to get Logan and Aleena together!" Kendall exclaims, obviously confused.

"Yeah, we are. We're gonna get decorations and get this place gorgeous before Aleena and Logan get back. They're gonna have a romantic first date AND party," I say.

"James is in!" Alexa says, walking inside with James. "I already explained the plan and also the fact that we have to clean."

"Good. Now let's start cleaning!" I smile.

Kendall groans and stays seated on his chair. Alexa hands me a broom, and Kendall then stands up. I toss the broom to him, and he catches it. He gorans again and walks up the stairs, obviously not in the mood.

"I'll broom the second floor," he mumbles, nearly impossible to understand.

James starts organizing the stuff here, in the bottom floor. Alexa decides to stay down here and help James clean as she grabs a broom from the storage. I walk upstairs to see Kendall whistling while brooming the floor. He notices me come up, and he smiles as his eyes shine. As corny as it sounds, it's actually shining but only because the sun is reflecting on his eyes. The sunlight is passing through the window, and that's the only scientific explanation I've got. He wraps his arms around my waste. 

"How about we do something more fun than cleaning?" Kendall asks.

"What do you mean?" I reply.

"I mean the the others can help Logan and Aleena. How about we help ourselves?" Kendall whispers, sending shivers down my spine. 

I understand what he means, and it's not happening. Never will I go on his bed and do it with him. Maybe I will in the future, but what I mean is I wouldn't do it now. Especially in the middle of a mission for my best friend. 

"No, Kendall. We gotta help our friends first," I tell him. 

"Fine," he mumbles. "But let's see you resist me in the future."

Kendall continues whistling and brooming the floor as I rearrange the things like tables, books, chairs, etc. I'm thinking of a name for this event. Maybe something like Time for Two. Yeah, that's a good one. The whole event will be dedicated to Logan Henderson and Aleena Nadeem. Since they will become an official couple today, it'll be an incredible day. Plus, all of the Big Time Couples will be the guests. It'll be a private party, duh. James Maslow and Halston Sage, Carlos Pena Jr. and Alexa Vega. Kendall Schmidt, and me, Valerie Stone. 

Suddenly, I hear panting, loud enough to reach here. Kendall and I hear it and stop what we're doing. I tell him to stay here as I run downstairs. There, I see Halston panting with a bag of decorations. We thank her, and she nods and smiles. She then runs back to the mall. Well this will be a great workout for her and Carlos. Then, I walk over to Alexa to talk to her about where to place those decorations given by Halston.

"I say we put these at the backyard with the pool because most of these decorations she gave us are ferry lights. These would literally make the backyard look magical," she suggests.

"I agree. Kendall and I will set up the decorations in the backyard," I reply.

"Fine by me," she smiles.

I walk up the stairs and tell Kendall to stop cleaning to help me decorate the backyard. He and I walk downstairs, and he places his broom back in the storage. We both walk out to the 'Balcony That's Not a Balcony' to enter the backyard. Yeah, that's what I call it. 'Balcony That's Not a Balcony'. Or BTNB for short. Or for sherter-er matters, I just call it the NB for 'Not a Balcony'. I'm so creative sometimes. No, not really. 

Kendall finds the bag of Halston's decorations in the backyard, leaning on the tree. Maybe Alexa placed it there when I went upstairs to tell Kendall we were coming here. I shrug the thought off as he grabs a long string of ferry lights. He smiles and hangs them on the tree. Unfortunately, the ferry lights instantly fall off the tree once he places them on. I start laughing as I see Kendall's pouty face. He just looks really cute and funny when he makes that face. 

"What's so funny?" he asks.

"You!" is all I say. 

"Well let me see you hang these darn ferry lights," he challenges.

"Fine!" I reply.

I harshly grab the ferry lights from his grasp and climb up the tree. Not to brag or anything, but as a kid, I always had the hobby of climbing things like swing poles, trees, anything that's stable and secure, high up.Then suddenly, I unexpectedly slip on a small part of the big tree and fall down. As I expect to hit the hard ground, I get caught by strong arms. I look up to see Kendall Francis Schmidt, holding me in his arms. Wow. He looks hot in this angle. 

"I thought I wanted to see you hang those lights," he smirks.

"I did," I smirk back.

Before I slipped, I already got to hang up the ferry lights. He nearly lets go of me from surprise, and he looks at me and gives me an aplogetic smile for almost letting me fall. I glare at him, cueing him to let go of me. He blushes and lets me go. Then, Kendall takes more decorations. Most of them are ferry lights though. Halston probably has a thing for them. Kendall holds a few ribbons. Maybe we can tie them on the tree or something. 

"How about we tie them on the tree of somehwere around the pool or something, I don't know," I suggest.

"Are we getting balloons?" he suddenly asks out of the topic.

"Guys! We got balloons from Carlos! He just left," James comes in and hands us six balloons.

"There's your answer," I tell Kendall.

"Thanks man," he thanks James.

James just nods and walks back inside. Kendall gives me five of the balloons as he holds onto the sixth one. What's he planning to do? Then, he takes a rock walks over to the pool. I follow him to see what he's trying to do. I see him put the rock at the bottom of the balloon string. Then, he ties the ribbon around a small part of the string. It actually looks pretty good. The string's color is yellow, and the robbon's color is purple. Yellow and purple make a really great combination. 

"Good idea!" I smile.

"You know, I can't wait for this party. It would be our first party together as a couple," he winks.

"I know," I wink back.

This is gonna be the best event ever!

Hey guys. Sorry for the suckish chapter. It's more of a filler rather than a REAL chapter that will keep you on the edge of your seats. :P But anyway, it'll get better soon. I've got drama up my sleeves. I just don't know when to put it. But it should be soon because this will end at probably Chapter 25. But there will be a sequel since you guys got me up to 150 Votes. :D Thanks for that!!! But anyway, I can't write a lot of chapters right now because exams are coming up so I gotta study. And I'm studying at the last minute right now. I'm only finishing this chapter because I'm taking a short break. After this, I'm gonna get back to studying. 

But other than that...
