I woke up early the next morning, and snuck outside to hunt walkers with Shadow. We were out almost all morning, shooting and stabbing every walker we could find that was outside or inside our territory. "Alright, Shadow. Let's head back home. I think we've killed enough for one day." I tell him, my shirt covered with walker blood, and he follows me back to camp. Just as we get back to the RV, Jackie and Sophie are standing outside, full of rage and worry. I walked over to them, and gave a guilty smile. "Hey, guys! Nice...day?" I say, as they just stand there, looking about ready to burst. "Marin! Where the hell were you?!" Jackie yelled. Here we go... "We were worried sick! Why would you run off like that?!" Sophie shouted. I was startled by their yells, as usual. "I-I was just out, umm... Looking for berries! Yeah, that's right! Berries." I tell them, as they eye my bloody shirt suspiciously. "Marin, why is there blood on your shirt?" Sophie questions. "It was from last night." I quickly answer. "Marin, that blood looks awfully new, and it's still wet. Oh my god, were you hunting walkers?!" Jackie screams. Busted. They were both glaring at me, and I fell to my knees, crying. "I'm sorry! I couldn't help myself after last night! Last night, I was almost killed!" Their glares turn to frowns, as they helped me up. "Marin, you know that none of us are allowed to sneak out." Jackie explained, and Sophie nodded. "Should we tell Jess?" Sophie asks her. "No, Sophie! Please don't tell Jessie! No, Sophie don't! Please! She'll hate me!" I beg. "Fine, we won't tell Jessie, but don't let it happen again. Got it?" Sophia asks, and I nod. "Good. Now, let's go back inside." Jackie tells us, and hugs me.
When we get back inside, Jessie is sitting on the couch, staring at me. "Where have you been?" She questions. I look at Jackie and Sophie and they shrug. I look back at Jessie, trying to cover my bloody shirt. "Marin, why is your shirt all bloody? Did you get hurt?" Jessie asks me, and I shrug. "I don't know." I tell her. "I think you do know." She sternly tells me. "I, um..." "Look at me. Where were you?" I look over in Jessie's direction, as she studies my shirt. Then, she looks at me. "That blood isn't from last night." Oh no. Busted again. "Jessie, I'm so sorry! I was afraid, and I didn't think! I just ran out and started killing walkers!" I sob even harder than what I did before. Jessie pulls me into a hug. "You'll be okay. I'm not mad." She tells me softly. "Y-You're not?" I ask, making sure I heard her right, and she nods. "Oh, thank the lord." I mumble, as Jackie gives me a look. I never realized how easy it was to piss her off. "Alright, I'm sorry. Geez..." I say, while backing up from her, and running in my room. "Marin!" I hear Sophie yell, while running after me. "Nope!" I yell back, and lock my door. She bangs on my door, until I eventually open it. "What?!" I scream. "We need to talk to you about something. Meet on the couch." Sophie tells me. I nod. What do they want to talk to me about? Is it something about sneaking out? Is it something bad? Those thoughts race in my mind, as I walk out of my room, and sit on the couch in the living room, next to Jackie and Jessie. Everything was silent, until it broke when Jackie spoke up. "Marin, we need to tell you something." "Okay..." I reply. "Okay, so after last night, we didn't feel very safe, and I'm guessing you didn't either, right?" She asks me, and I slowly nod. "Yeah.... Why?" I question her. "You may not like this, but.... we, erm, are going to....move..." I gasp, and literally jump out of my seat. "WHAT?!" I holler. Jessie sits me back down, and tries to calm me down. "All of us have already discussed this. This move is happening." She tells me, as I take Blade out of my pocket, run into my room, and start stabbing the frame of my bed. My friends run in, and Abby holds me back, as Jackie grabs Blade out of my hand. "Stop it!" She screams. "No! Leave me alone!" I snap back, as Abby tightens her grip on my arms. I elbow her in the stomach, break free, and hide under my bed. Jessie pulls me out. "Marin, please... Can't we at least talk about it?" I see her pleading look, and then nod. "Fine..." I tell her, as we all sit on my bed again. "Okay, so we are going to actually drive the RV. We just need to find a driver." Sophie says. "I could drive." Abby tells us, and we nod. "When are we leaving?" I ask. "We are leaving early tomorrow morning, so we will have all day today to get the extra stuff we need to pack." Jessie replies. "Okay, can we pack now?" Faith questions, and Jessie nods. With that, we all start running all over the campground, grabbing our things that are out there. I go to the shed, grab my black motorcycle, and ride it over to the RV, because it is way too heavy to pick up. When I get back, I bring it inside. "Dude, what do you think you're doing?" Jackie asks me, eyeing my motorcycle. "I'm bringing my motorcycle inside." I reply. She shakes her head. "How are you even going to keep it in here? You cannot keep that thing in the RV. It will take up too much room." "Well, you are not going to make me leave my baby behind. This is staying in my bedroom." I calmly tell her. "Ugh, fine." She answers, as I wheel my motorcycle into my room, and lean it against my bed. Then, I go back outside and call Shadow. "Shadow! Here, boy!" He comes running out from his doghouse, and follows me into my room. "What is going on in this world, Shadow?" I ask him, while rubbing his ears. He just looks at me with those sad eyes again. "Awe, everything will be okay." I assure him, and he licks my cheek. I finish packing up, and go into the living room, where my friends are. "Did you get everything?" I am asked by them. "Yeah, I did." I answer back. "Alright, it's already eleven. We should try and get some sleep. We are leaving really early tomorrow." Enrique advises. "Good idea. Now, let's go to bed." Jackie agrees. We all go into our rooms, and I go to my bed. I curl up under the covers with Shadow, and we fall asleep.
