I run back to the RV as fast as I can, nervous as can be. Everyone is staring at me. I suddenly see Jackie bolt from the other room, and over to me. "What time is it?" She asks me sternly. I look at my cracked phone again. 7:24. "Well?" Jackie says. "Seven twenty four..?" I quietly reply. "And when were you supposed to be back?" Jessie questions me. "Seven..." I answer. "Marin, how many times do we have to tell you?! Be back on time! You never freaking listen!" Jackie scolds, before making her hand into a fist, and punching me right in the face. I fall to the ground in shock, and rub my cheek, straining myself from crying. Jessica runs over to me, kneels down my my side, and helps me up. She looks at my bruised face, before taking my hand, and running me into my room. She sits me down on my bed, and grabs an ice pack. "Here, hold that on where she hit." I looked up at her, tears trickling down my face. "W-Why would she do that?" I ask her, and she shrugs. "Everything will be alright, I'm sure she didn't mean it." She says, and hugs me. We hear a knock at my door, and then Jackie comes in. I burry my face in Jess's shoulder, clinging onto her. "Marin, I'm so sorry. I don't know what I was thinking!" She tells me, and I look at her, and hug her. "I-I'm sorry, too." I answer. She looks at the bruise on my face, and holds the ice on it. I flinch a little bit, pull myself away, and sit up against my wall. "You're okay, nothing's going to hurt you." Jessie walks towards me and sticks out her hand. I grasp it, not wanting to let go. She brings me back over to Jackie, and she puts the ice back on my bruise. I flinch again, but Jess gives me her hand to hold again, making me feel safer. "I-I really am sorry." I tell Jackie. "It's okay, you're forgiven." She replies. I wipe my eyes, and lean against my bedframe. Jackie rubs my shoulder, and I hug her. Just then, Abby ran in. "Guys, is everyone ready to go, now?" She asks. I just stare at her. "I'll take that as a yes." Abby tells us, before going back to the driver's seat. "Hey! Shotgun!" Enrique yells, and jumps into the front seat. Faith was right behind him. "No fair!" She yells, and Enrique smirks. "Haha, look who's in the back, now!" He laughs. I get up from my bed, go into the kitchen, and hop up onto the counter. Michael walks into the kitchen to see me. "What in the world are you doing?" He asks me. I shrug. Michael just stares at my bruised cheek. "Dang, she really got you." He said. "Stay away!" I yell and flinch away, making him jump. "Whoa, calm down. Are you okay?" Sophie questions me, while walking over to where Michael and I are, staring at my cheek as well. "I'm fine, now will you please stop staring at my cheek?" I ask, right as we hit a huge bump, and then stop. "Abby, what's up with the bump? Why did we stop?" Faith questions her. "I don't know! We need to stop just in case we got a flat tire or something." She calls back. "Here, I'll look." I say, before heading towards the door. When I get outside, I feel myself stepping in something. I pick up my foot, only to see blood all over my shoes. I jump over a small pool of blood, and notice that the RV is laying on top of a huge pile of dead walkers. I gasp, fall to the ground, and start bawling. I just can't handle it anymore. Jackie, Jessie, and Sophie run outside towards me. "Marin, what's wrong?" They question me, and I point to the pile of walkers. "No! No! No!" I scream while tears are draining from my eyes. Sophie wraps her arms around me, along with Jess and Jackie. "This can't-" I am interrupted by my own sobs. "Shh... It's gonna be okay. Marin, look at me, it's okay." Jackie tries comforting me. Jessie whispers soothing things in my ear, trying to make me calm. "Lookup. Just look at the moon. Everything is going to be okay. Trust me." She softly says to me. Jackie helps me up. "We need to go back inside before Marin starts having another panic attack." Sophie advises, as Jackie and Jess agree, and try to help me up. I won't budge. I just lay on the ground, crying. "Marin, just take our hands." They say. I shake my head, and they grab my arm, and pull me up. I go limp, and they drag me back into the RV. Shadow growls at them. He hates it when people try and drag me places. Considering our past, I don't blame him. They place me on the couch, and Shadow immediately runs up to me, and starts licking the tears off my face. I hug him, and rub his ears. Sophie goes and tells Abby that there are no holes in any of the tires, and then we keep driving. We drive for a few more hours, and then come to a stop at a house, not too far away from that city Jackie was talking about. I tap on her shoulder. "Jackie, I thought you said we were moving to the city." Jackie looked at me, and then spoke. "I decided that we are staying here, instead." I nod, but then see a group of people on black motorcycles, just like mine. Oh no, not these guys again. I just stare out the window, as they come closer, and closer, and closer to the RV, and then stop. "Who are those people..?" Jessie asks me. I don't answer her. I just stare out the window, and then walk out the door, with my friends trailing behind. "Well, well, well. If it isn't Midnight." One of the guys says. He has a "W" on his forehead. The Wolf. "What are you guys doing here?!" I ask them. "Don't play dumb! You know why we're here. We want you back." I just stare at them, and back at my friends. "I don't know what you're talking about-" I am interrupted by Wolf. "You do know what we're talking about!" He roars. "No she doesn't! Just leave her alone!" Abby defends me, and my other friends nod, except for Jess her face drained of all color. "Shut it, girl! She knows what I'm talking about!" Wolf grabs my arm, and pulls up me sleeve, revealing the "W" tattoo, cut into my forearm. My friends' eyes grow wide, unlike Jess, again. She doesn't even seem surprised, just horrified, and I see her mouth move whispering a 'How?', at least I think that's what she said. "You see this?! This is the symbol of The Wolves!" Wolf tells them, as he touches the "W", making me flinch in pain. "Marin..." I see Jessie, that horrified expression still planted on her face. "Now, Midnight-" I cut Wolf off. "Stop calling me Midnight! I am not part of your stupid gang anymore!" He puts his hand to my mouth, shutting me up. "Listen to me. You either come with us, or all of your friends die, and then it's your turn." I break loose from his grip. "No! Stay away from me and my friends!" I scream, as I draw my knife, and stab him in the abdomen. He falls to the ground, screaming in pain. "Get her!" He yells, before his head drops to the ground, and he stops breathing.
