A/N: Thanks to everyone giving my story a chance. I really appreciate it. Here is chapter
~
Waking up I saw that Nate had already gotten up. I usually always wake up before him. I made my way down the stairs and into the kitchen. He wasn't in here either. Going to the fridge I saw a note hanging on the door. I frowned and took it off.
Mae,
Sorry for skipping out on you. Jessica called, said she wanted to do breakfast. I was going to wake you and ask if you wanted to join, but I decided to just let you sleep. I'll call you later maybe we can do something again.
Nate.
Of course he was with Jessica. I crumpled up the note and threw it in the trash. I was happy he didn't ask me to join. I did not want to be around her more than I needed to. Figures he would ditch me for her. He should have just stayed with her last night. There was no point in him staying here if he was just going to run to her in the morning.
Great now I was in a bad mood. I looked through the fridge and of course there was nothing to eat. I need to go to the store.
I made my way back up the stairs grumbling to myself the whole way. I just threw on a pair of skinny jeans and a white shirt. I brushed my teeth and hair and made my way back down the stairs. I grabbed my wallet and car keys of the table by the door.
Slamming the door behind me I made my way to the car. Why did Jessica always have to be around Nathan? He had other friends, and he barely spent time with any of us.
"Someone is crabby this morning," I heard a voice say. Great, Jackson was out here.
"I'm not a morning person," I mumbled. It was half the truth. I wasn't a morning person, but that's not why I was crabby. Why was I even crabby? It's not like I should be surprised about this. Ever since Nathan and Jessica started dating he's been ditching me for her.
"Obviously," Jackson stated. "So did you go the game last night?" He asked walking towards me.
"I told you I would," I replied. He chuckled.
"Just because you said you would doesn't mean you did," he said leaning on my car.
"Well yes I was there. I'm surprised you didn't see me since my friend decided to embarrass me," I said.
"What happened?" He asked. I wasn't really sure why I told Jackson anything. He was Liam's best friend and he could easily just go tell him everything. I think some part of me told him because, well he was kind of one of the people I was closest to at the moment. Even if we argued over pointless things. Nichole and Brandon were always off together and Nathan is obviously rarely around, but Jackson was there.
"I'm surprised Liam didn't tell you. My friend pushed me into him making me fall on my butt. Then the embarrassment continued when I started speaking," I told him. He laughed at me.
"That's a great friend you have there," he said still laughing a bit. I rolled my eyes at him.
"Liam was real nice about it though. Even though I'm weird and awkward," I said.
"You are not, but yeah Liam is a real nice guy. You should talk to him again," he encouraged me.
"Yeah, so I can embarrass myself further? No thanks," I said.
