Sunday, oh how I hated Sunday's. The last day of the weekend, the day before school starts back up. They were never fun. Sunday's usually consisted of me doing last minute homework and doing all the chores.
You see my parents are never home. They work a lot, and are always on business trips. It doesn't really bother me though. You get used to it after a while. They left me a card that I could use to buy anything I might need, they made sure to call me every day to make sure everything was going all right.
Not only did I have to do chores and homework, but I usually went on a morning run. Now I know this is completely my choice, but I liked being active. I felt badly when I didn't get some work out in.
So here I am on my morning run. The sun was barely up and it was chilly outside. My music was bumping through my headphones, and I hummed along to Ride by Twenty One Pilots.
I turned the corner and boom I ran smack dab into someone, or something. I fell on my butt and my earphones fell out. I looked up to see Liam Decker standing over me.
Are you kidding me?
He chuckled and stuck out his hand to help me up. I slowly took it and he helped me to my feet.
"So we meet again," he said smiling. I made a little nervous laughter, as a blush creeped to my cheeks.
"If we keep meeting like this my butt is going to have a huge bruise on it," I said pouting. Why did I just say that? I always brought up my butt. He laughed like it was funny, when it in fact was just embarrassing.
"Are you okay?" He asked me.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I replied.
I heard the sound of feet pounding against the pavement. I see Jackson run up, he stops beside Liam and starts panting.
"Dude, why do you always run so fast?" Jackson asked between breaths.
"It's not my fault you're slow," Liam replied. Jackson glared at him, before noticing I was standing there. He sent me a smirk before turning back to Liam.
"Oh I see you're busy. I'm going to go to the bakery down the street. I need some donuts," Jackson said turning away, not before giving me a wink.
I tried not to face palm. Liam could have easily seen that, and wonder why Jackson was winking at me.
"Sorry about him, he's weird," Liam said. I laughed and nodded my head in agreement.
"Tell me about it. I'm his neighbor, so I have to deal with his weirdness on a daily basis," I said.
"I know," Liam replied.
He knows?
"You know?" I asked confused.
Please tell me Jackson didn't say anything about me.
"Yeah," he laughed a little. "I'm at Jackson's a lot and I always see you around," he said.
He noticed me? Liam Decker actually noticed me.
"You see me?" I asked embarrassingly. Why the hell did I ask that? Of course he saw me, I wasn't invisible. He just laughed at me. He had a cute laugh.
"Yeah, I see you a lot," he said smiling. "But hey do you come running often?" He asked me.
I wasn't sure where he was going with this.
