I sat on my bed, a notebook propped up against my legs. The notebooks page was littered with small drawings, but my favorite one was the one on the far left of the off-white page; a picture of Frank Iero. It was a simple sketch of his face and the lines where rather sloppy but it didn't matter, it wasn't exactly my best anyway. I jumped a bit when my phone vibrated, the screen lighting up with text.
'From Frankie:I'm outside your house, can I come in?"
'Just let yourself in.'
'Are you sure?'
'Mikey's friends do it all the time, come on.'
I sat my phone back down along with my notebook and got off my bed, smiling as I heard footsteps approaching my room door. There was a small knock and then it opened which I took as an advantage as I gave the male in front of me a hug. "Nice to see you too Gee." He said softly, returning the hug. I pulled away and gave him a small smile, "You can sit down anywhere really." I motioned around my room, "That chairs not very comfortable though," he nodded, "It's fine."
I sat down on my bed, moving over my notebook and phone, patting the spot next to me which Frank hesitantly sat down on. There was a rather awkward silence between us for a good five minutes before he finally spoke up, "Gee, I was wondering if you'd maybe like go see a movie with me this weekend...." I felt my cheeks heat up slightly and I bit my lip a bit, "L-Like a date?" I asked quietly. "Not exactly, more like two friends seeing a movie together." I felt my heart drop a bit and nodded, "Oh." Frank frowned and I quietly shot him a half smile, "It's a 'date' then." Frank winked playfully. "I can't wait." I laughed quietly and Franks phone suddenly went off, lighting up in his pocket; he sighed and pulled it out.
"Well Gee, I guess I need to go." I frowned, "Okay, text me later?" He nodded and stood up, shoving the phone into his jacket pocket. "Yeah, see ya' later princess." I smiled and waved slightly, "Bye Frankie."-
If there is any grammar and/or spelling mistakes, feel free to point them out. I'm trying my best to make this a fairly "good" story and it would help a lot.
