Hannah was unable to speak. The call dropped. Ice shot through Hannah's veins . She pressed the receiver and put it back on it's place. Everything seemed still for a second. The voice ran again and again in Hannah's head. The voice reminded of the news that was reported in the morning. She decided that she won't tell Meg about the call because she gets terrified and will start to sob.

"Hey, who was on the call, Hannah?" questioned Meg, coming downstairs. She was holding a bowl for Bruce to serve him dinner.

"It was just a prank call, nothing else. " lied Hannah, keeping her voice normal.

'Oh' answered Meg, heading towards the kitchen.

"Did the news reporter said that the murderer calls?" She asked Meg, Hannah fought to keep her voice steady.

"Nope. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, Everthing's fine. You don't have to worry." Hannah felt a tremble in her voice.

Hannah looked at the cloak; the cloak struck 9 pm.

"Let's go,Meg. " Hannah said, picking up the dishes to wash them.

Meg came inside the kitchen and helped Hannah  in washing dishes.

After sometime they went to their room. Hannah closed Meg's door after giving her a kiss. Hannah was still panicky about the news and the call.she laid down in her bed and glared outside. Hannah forget to close the curtains.  The snow  beat mercilessly at the windowpanes.Hannah  was really afraid. She tried to concentrate on happy things but the images wouldn't come. She thought to go to her sister but again she thought that it will be useless because her sister would be fast asleep.

The phone rang, interrupting Hannah's thoughts. Hannah jumped to her feet. Reality was beyond imagination. She waddled down to pick up the phone.

"Hello" she said breathlessly. "Hello" she repeated, her voice trembling.

"Hey, Hannah" cried a deeply, friendly voice.

"Mom, is that you? Hello? " Hannah

"Yes, honey. We're-airport-snowed in-"

"What" Hannah talked louder, forcing calm in her voice. "Mom I can hardly hear you-"

"Don't know-when-home"

"What? "

"Snow-terrible-sorry-"

"Mom I can't hear you-"

"Take care-let you know-"

"But when-"

"-love you-"

"Mom?"

Hannah held the phone away as the line popped like miniature fireworks. She listened a few minutes more, but there was nothing at all.

"it's dead," she sighed. "The line must be down."

Hannah was pondering what to do now? How to contact her mother?

Suddenly Hannah saw a silhouette on the wall. It was swift and silent and it was moving towards her....slowly and slowly.

Hannah felt her heart moving towards her throat. She swallowed hard.

I have to face this. Meg, I'm gonna leave this percious earth. Best of luck.1.....2..!

Hannah closed her eyes tighter and closed her hands even more tighter.

"What are you doing here?" the voice called out.
