"Oh. My. God." The young fan squeals as Ross and Laura sign her poster. "I love you guys so much."

"We love you too." Laura says, laughing. "Bye!" She says as the fan screams in joy away.

They are at the meet & greet, sitting in chairs, and signing posters. Its been going on for an hour now.

Laura laughs and looks at Ross. "Can you believe that she's screaming over us?"

Ross nods. "Yeah."

The next girl who comes had a glare on her face. She did not look nice with her gothic appearance.

Ross doesn't know what to say because she obviously wasn't a fan. He nudges Laura with his elbow and she looks over to the gothic girl.

She didn't know what to say; the girl was glaring furiously at Ross. "You don't know me, but i know you. And you really don't want to mess with me." The girl says, sharply.

Ross and Laura glance at each other.

"I'm Krystal." She says. "You know, Krystal41101? I give you death threats to your twitter."

Laura narrows her eyes at her rudeness.

"You probably think that everyone likes you." Krystal says, rudely. "Obviously, i have sense and definitely don't like you at all."

Ross wasn't going to fight her but Laura was too angry to hold back.

"I'm going to do something soon. I know the hotel you're staying at." She continues. "I'll come into your room and--."

Laura cuts her off. "Um, excuse me!?" She exclaims. Ross looks to Laura. "I'm not going to let you talk bad about him, right in his face. That's rude. Why are you even taking time to do this? If you don't like him, oh well. You are welcome to leave. No one asked you to come."

The security guard on the side, sees the hassle and comes over. "Is there a problem, here?"

"Yes, this girl is threatening Ross." Laura says. "She's needs help finding the exit."

Krystal glares at Laura as the security guard grabs her arm. "I never had a problem with you but since you adore your boyfriend here so much, I'm starting to rethink. It's sad."

On another day, Laura would deny that Ross is her boyfriend. But, not today. She was so past that, right now.

"Let's go," the security guard urges, pulling her away.

"I'll get you, Ross Lynch! I'll get you!" Krystal screams.

Ross felt sick. Laura leans back in her seat, crossing her arms, and sighs out of frustration.

Ross looks to Laura, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Thanks." He tells her. "But, you didn't need to."

Laura looks to him. "Yes, i did. You weren't going to do anything to a girl. So i did." She says. "I couldn't stand how rude she was to you. Ughh."

Ross smiles and side hugs her in her chair. "Look at you being a protective wife." Ross teases.

Laura hugs him back. Not denying what he said. "I am." She smiles, just joking.

I mean, she wasn't going to let some girl hate on Ross like that.

It riled her up. She felt uncomfortable and mad when someone was talking bad about him. Especially to her, like Ross wasn't like her best friend.

He's just too much of a sweetheart and too adorable to hate.

Whoa, Laura. When did you start to have these thoughts about Ross?

But, whatever. The point is you can't hate Ross.

Everything about him was so admirable.

"Laura," Ross says, snapping her back to the real world. "As much as i enjoy this, you have to let go."

Laura realizes she was holding on tight to Ross. She remembers not breaking away from the hug.

She lets go of Ross, giving him a small embarrassed smile. A fan was standing there taking a video of the whole thing, gaping.

Laura looks to the camera on the girl's phone. "He is just so snuggly." She says, not meaning to use those words.

Ross laughs at her. "Oh, Laura." He says.

Laura signs the girl's poster. "Oh, Laura." She repeats.

Honestly, she didn't know what was happening to her. Her mind was exploding and her cheeks were getting red every five minutes.

And strangely, Ross was all she thought of for the rest of the meet and greet.

. . . . . .

The drive back to the hotel was quick. As soon as they arrived they went straight to a restaurant inside of it.

Ross took Laura to the diner that he went to when he was all alone.

The waitress that he'd talk to the other day comes over happily. "So, is this the girl you liked but was taken? Did you get her to be yours?"

Ross's eyes widen and so do Laura's.

"She's cute." The waitress continues.

Ross coughs deliberately and slices the air in front of his neck with his hand, meaning 'cut it out'.

The waitress catches on. "Oops."

Laura looks to Ross, confused and shocked. He glances back at her and looks away.

"I don't know what you mean. You must have me confused with some other guy." Ross lies.

The waitress helps play it off. "Oh! I'm dearly sorry. That must be embarrassing, considering you two are probably just friends."

Ross looks down and nods, scratching the back of his neck.

Laura continues to stare at Ross in shock. She knew he had to be lying.

After a couple minutes of awkward silence, the waitress clears her throat. "Let me get'cha a table." She says and leads them over to a two person table.

Ross doesn't sit down. "I'm going to the bathroom." He lies.

"Ross--." Laura starts but he hurries away.

Ross doesn't even go to the bathroom, he just goes around the corner out of Laura's sight. He starts banging his head on the wall. "Why the hell is everyone embarrassing me like that?" He asks aloud. "Why is everyone trying to give away that i freaking like her?"

The waitress comes over to Laura at the table. "Can i get you something to drink?"

Laura flips through the menu quickly. "Um... Can i just wait for Ross to come back?"

The waitress nods and puts her pen back in her front pocket. "Sure, honey. I'll come back when he's back."

Laura nods as the waitress walks away.

When minutes pass and Ross still isn't back, Laura gets a little annoyed. He couldn't be doing the number two for this long.

Laura doesn't know what she plans to do, but she gets up and goes to where the bathrooms are.

She finds Ross banging his head on the wall. "Idiot," he says. "Stupid."

"Ross!" Laura shouts. "What are you doing?"

Ross looks to Laura, surprised. He stumbles a bit, then regains his balance against the wall. "Oh... umm..." He says, disoriented. "Sup."

Laura looks at him in disbelief. She could start to make out a large purple spot under his hair on his forehead. "Don't 'sup' me!" She says, surprisingly angry. "How long were you doing this to yourself?"

She walks over to him, pushing up the hair on his forehead to uncover a large bruise. "What were you thinking!?"

Ross shrugs as if it wasn't a big deal, though, he felt a little dizzy.

"Come on," Laura says, grabbing Ross's arm and pulling him to the table.

Ross sits in his seat, carefully.

Laura watches him as she sat in her chair. "Did you even go to the bathroom?" She asks.

Ross puts his head down on his arm on the table. "No." He replies, simply.

"Are you okay?" Laura says, feeling more worried than she should be.

"Yeah." He says. "Just a little dizzy."

"Why were you doing that?" Laura asks.

Ross continues to not look at her and closes his eyes, squeezing them shut. His head was throbbing.

"Ross?" Laura says.

"Dude, chill with all the questions. Just give me a second."

Laura shuts her mouth and waits patiently.

The waitress comes back. "You two ready?"

"Sure." Laura says, looking at Ross, who didn't move. "I'll have a coke and get him a water."

"No, i'll get a coke." Ross says.

"Ross, a coke isn't going to help you, right now." She says to him. "Bring him a water."

"Don't listen to her. I'll get a coke." Ross says.

"No, he'll get a water." Laura says.

Ross sits up and looks at her, abruptly. "Laura, my head hurts too much to argue with you! Just let me get what i want!" He says, frustrated.

"Since your head hurts, you need to get a water! Coke isn't going to help you!" She says back.

The waitress stops their fight by taking Laura's side. "You should listen to her. She cares about you. I'll be back with your water and coke."

Ross groans, irritated and puts his head back on the table.

Laura watches him. "Ross," she starts.

He doesn't answer. So, Laura repeats his name a little louder.

"I'm listening." He says.

"You should take some Advil when she brings your water." She tells him.

He doesn't look up at her. "Okay, mom." He says, sarcastically.

Laura doesn't reply to that.

"Didn't your head hurt, too?" He asks suddenly. Ross looks at her, his head still resting on the table.

"Well, that was this morning. And i drank water." Laura says.

"But, you should still drink water." Ross tells her.

Laura narrows her eyes at him. "Just because you can't drink coke, you don't want me to drink it?"

"That's exactly it." Ross says.

"No." She says. "That's not fair."

"Oh, but its fair to drink coke in front of my face when you know i want it?" He asks. "I don't think so."

Laura laughs. "You aren't serious."

"I-I very much am." Ross says. "Try me."

The waitress brings a coke and a water to the table.

Laura and Ross both go for the coke but Ross beats her to it. He brings the coke to his side away from Laura.

"Ross, you better not drink that!" She shouts while laughing.

"I'm not." He smiles. "And you won't either."

"Then, what am i going to drink?" She asks him.

Ross takes the straw from the coke and puts it in the water next to his straw. "There you go."

"I'm not sharing a water with you!" She says.

"At least it isn't a milkshake." He smiles, taking a sip of the water.

Laura narrows her eyes at him. "What's wrong with a milkshake?"

"Milkshakes are what those couples share when they go on dates together." He replies.

Laura laughs. "You watch too many movies."

The waitress that they forgot was there, smiled at them. They looked so cute together. Why weren't they dating?

"Do you want me to take the coke back?" The waitress asks.

"Yes, please." Ross says, handing the coke to her.

"Ughh!" Laura groans while laughing.

Ross laughs as he takes out his Advil and drinks them down.

"Why can't i just get my own drink?" Laura asks Ross.

"Because!" He says and thinks of a fake reason. "I'm going to pay for it."

"No, i can pay." Laura says.

"No! I'm paying." Ross tells her.

Laura smiles at him. "We're not doing this."

"Oh yes, we are." Ross tells her.

After they share their drink, eat food, and finish up, the waitress comes over setting the check on the table.

Ross was zoning for a second and Laura reacts quicker. She grabs the little check booklet and laughs.

Ross gets up out of his chair. "You aren't paying."

Laura takes out some cash and then looks to Ross, who was coming toward her. "Ross, what are you doing?"

She gets up, too, trying to run away from him.

He catches Laura and wraps his arms around her from behind, tightly. In that position, Laura's wrists were under his muscular arms.

She laughs. "Ross! Just give up! I'm going to pay."

"No, you aren't." He whispers, nuzzling into her neck. His warm breath leaves goosebumps on her skin. Laura doesn't know what's going on when she feels butterflies.

She pauses, taking in Ross's beautiful scent and all of his muscles against her.

The waitress doesn't stop them, since there are barely any people in the diner to complain about their commotion. She smiles, instead, envying that playful friendship she never had experienced.

She saw how much Ross liked her and how unaware Laura is. Though, she still enjoyed him and liked him.

Ross inhales Laura's scent, quietly. Everything about her made him want to just kiss her so bad. Ross presses deeper in her neck. "You going to give me that check book?"

His voice sounded like heaven. Laura felt mesmerized. Ross made her feel hypnotized. She didn't know how, but it felt good. She closes her eyes, but tries to keep her sense. "Not a chance." She says, lightly.

Ross squeezes her tighter against him and puts the side of her forehead against her neck. "You sure, Laur?"

The waitress looks away, not trying to be all up in their moment.

Ross could tell what he was doing to Laura was affecting her. He was surprised that she let him. It was really flirty and lovey-dovey. He didn't want this to end, but he'd rather do this in a more private place. If he could do it again.

While Laura was basically lolling in la-la land, Ross sneakily grabs the check book and throws in his cash. He hands it to the waitress and she smiles at them. "Have a good night, dears."

Ross smiles back at her. "You too."

Laura snaps back to reality and tries to recover herself before Ross sees her all disoriented.

Ross walks over to her, since she was frozen in place. "You okay?"

Laura nods, feeling a little confused about what happened. She stands there, thinking for a while.

Ross saw she was zoning out and back in, multiple times. So, he takes her hand and leads her out of the diner into the main part of the lobby.

Once he sees Ms. Anderson, he drops her hand and nudges Laura to walk.

Ms. Anderson looks suspiciously at them and then turns away as they walk pass.

Ross sighs of relief as he takes Laura's hand walks with her into the elevator. She lets go of his hand leans against the wall, looking into space.

Ross stares at her. "Are you sure you're okay?"

Laura looks at him and blinks a couple of times.

She didn't know why she was so affected by what happened. It wasn't like he kissed her. She tries her best to straighten out. "Y-yeah... I-I'm just... tired..."

It was an attempt of talking.

Ross watches her for a few seconds before turning away.

The elevator dings and Ross walks out.

When he realizes Laura was still standing in the elevator, he hurries back and stops the doors from closing. Ross grabs her arm and pulls her out of the elevator and picks her up, front-ways.

Laura was surprised but she doesn't feel like doing anything about it. She only wraps her arms around his neck and rests her head on his shoulder.

"Laura, what the hell is going on with you?" Ross asks her.

She takes a deep breath in and then out.

"Laura."

"I'm fine, Ross." She says. "Just a little tired."

Ross starts to walk down the hallway, enjoying the fact that he was carrying her. "A little tired? You're acting more than tired."

"I know," is the only thing she says.

Ross rubs her back, letting her know that he was worried.

"I just need to sleep a bit." Laura tells him, enjoying that little back-rub.

Ross stops at Laura's door and opens it with his card for her room. He walks inside over to her bed and sets her down.

"Thanks." She says as she gets comfortable in her bed.

Ross heads to the door to leave as Laura looks to him. "Where are you going?"

"My room." He answers.

"Can you stay here?" Laura asks, innocently.

Wow.

"Laura..." Ross starts.

Laura doesn't know what's wrong with her. She felt embarrassed. "Sorry..." She says. "It's okay if you want to go."

Ross sits down on her bed. "No, no, no." He says, quickly. "I'd love to stay. I'm just worried about you. You haven't acted like this before."

Laura shrugs, lying down. "I'm really, really tired." She says, rubbing her eyes. "I'll be better in the morning."

Ross was actually okay with how she changed a bit. It almost seemed like she really, really liked him.

Maybe she was starting to like him...

Suddenly, Laura's phone vibrates in her pocket. Ross looks to her as she takes her phone out to look at the text.

Anthony: Need to talk to you.

Laura groans. "I forgot about that."

"What?" Ross asks.

"Anthony." She replies, getting up. "I have to go. I'll stop by your room when I'm done."

Ross stands up, walking with her to the door. "No, just go straight to your room. You're too tired."

Laura looks in his eyes, then nods. She opens the door and they both walk out.

"Do you want me to walk you?" He asks.

"You don't have to. If you want, that's cool." She replies.

Ross nods. "I'll walk you." He tells her as they start to walk. "I want to make sure you don't zone out on the elevator again."

Laura smiles at him, amused and he smirks back at her, teasingly.

Again, the butterflies make their way through Laura. She tucks a clump of hair behind her ear nervously, and smiles down at the ground, blushing.

Ross watches her. Why was she acting all weird like this?

He still thought she looked cute, though.

They get to the elevator and the trip up seemed short. They enter the floor and walk down the hallway to Anthony's room.

Since he saw the text on Laura's phone about Anthony's room number, he knew exactly where to go.

He wasn't going to tell Laura, but he was going to hang by his room to make sure she was fine.

They turn down the hallway and Ross is first to see Anthony, looking toward them. He was standing outside of his room, waiting for her.

Ross glares at Anthony as he glares right back.

Laura looks to Ross. "Thanks for walking me. I'll be down soon."

Ross nods. "Be safe."

Laura smiles at him and hits his chest, playfully. "Shut up."

Ross smiles and pats her back. He turns away and pretends to leave.

Laura heads to Anthony's room and he follows her into the room, shutting the door behind him.

Laura looks at how neat his room was. It wasn't real. It was almost to a point where it was kinda creepy.

"Come here." Anthony tells her, sharply.

Laura narrows her eyes at him. "What...?"

"I said, come here." He says more loudly and threatening.

Laura doesn't move. Her heart starts to thump fast out of fear. She holds her breath.

'Be safe.' Ross's words echo in her mind.

She didn't feel so safe, now.

Anthony starts toward her in a rapid pace that startles her.

She couldn't move as Anthony grabs her neck, violently. His hands close around her throat.

Laura couldn't move, or scream. She could hardly breathe.

She knew that in seconds, she would pass out and Anthony will do who-knows-what to her.

She didn't want that.

Using all of her power and energy, she lets out a scream.
