The Day We Met (CaptainSwan AU)

Chapter 12

It's been a few weeks since the day Killian told me that he loved me. In these few weeks we have been inseparable. Killian has been coming over to my house after school a lot and everything has been great.

I've told my mom things about him but they haven't met yet. She really wants to meet him and soon. I have to be honest, I want Killian to meet my mom too. I'm hoping that I can invite him over for dinner one day so they can finally meet.

Thankfully, it's Saturday. I walked downstairs to get food when I saw my mother in the kitchen with a huge smile on her face.

I chuckled. "What is it?"

She bit her lip and then pointed at the numbers that were on her wrist. I looked at it and gasped.

The numbers were no longer all at zero. They started counting down again. It's rare, but it is possible. Sadly, someone else's soulmate would have to have passed away for the numbers to start counting down again. It's kind of confusing, but basically if two peoples soulmates have passed away, the numbers will start counting down again.

"I'm happy for you! I mean, I'm sorry for the persons soulmate but..you know.." I said and gave my mom a hug and she hugged me back. "And shouldn't you be at work?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Ya, ya," she rolled eyes playfully," I just wanted to show you," She said with her soft and calming voice.

I smiled but ushered her out of the kitchen to go get ready for work. I've told her many times that she needs to hire more people at her ice cream shop so she doesn't have to work so much. But according to her, everyone else is just going to screw something up.

I then went back into the kitchen and made myself some toast. I sat down at the table while I ate when my mom came rushing back into the kitchen.

She gave me a quick kiss on my forehead. "I'll see you when I get home," she smiled and ran out of the house and to her car.

When I finished eating, I texted Killian.

E- Hey, you should come over. I miss you :)

K- Already? It hasn't even been 24 hours yet! Haha, I'll be the soon :)

I smiled at his text. Only about 5 minutes later, I heard a knock on my door. I ran to it and opened it, expecting to see Killian. But instead, Regina was there.

I groaned and rolled my eyes. "What do you want?"

She walked into my house, without even asking for permission. "I'm going to meet my soulmate today!" She shouted and gave me a taught hug.

I laughed and smiled. Wow. Lots of good news today!

"Can we please go out and do stuff today? I want you to be there when I meet him, otherwise and it will probably be awkward." She blushed.

I was about to open my mouth to say something when I heard a knock. I looked over and the open door to see Killian standing outside. I quickly moved out of Regina's embrace and jumped onto Killian. I wrapped my legs around his waist and out my arms around his knock. He held onto my thighs to make sure I didn't fall. I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

When I heard gagging noises coming from behind me, I turned around and shot Regina a glare. I then got off of Killian and looked up at him. "Um..could Regina hang out with us for the day..? She's going to meet her soulmate and she wants me to be there."

I laughed. "Over course." He said and looked back at Regina, giving her a smile.

"Oh, wait! I have an idea. How about we all just invite some friends over here to my house and we can just hang out all day?" I asked. "We could ask Mary Margret, David and Ruby! And then you, Killian could invite some of your friends!" I smiled at my idea.
