Part 13
Jayden
I woke up with a light on my face. My stomach was gone and I was in pain. I slowly sat up and looked around. My head was pounding.
??: Ma'am I need you to relax.
Jayden: Where's my daughter?
??: Kory took her.
Jayden: No. I need my daughter. Wait a minute.... Tay?
Tay: Be quiet. August will quit looking for you and I'll be able to keep the baby.
Jayden: Wait you were in on it the whole time?
Tay: Of course! I could never have kids. August gets you pregnant and I take the baby.
Kory: She's asleep.
Jayden: Give me my child.
I felt myself getting light headed. I looked down and saw blood on my legs. I laid my head back and coughed.
Tay: Can't fight if you're bleeding out.
I lightly chuckled. I felt myself fading out.

I felt water splash all over my face. I jumped up gasping for air. I felt people holding my arms. I looked around at people I didn't even know.
Tay: Okay. She's up. Looks like she passed out from low blood sugar.
Jayden: What's going on? Where's my daughter? And my husband?!
Tay: Okay. Take her back to the room and give her her medication.
They dragged me back to my room. I was soaked. They sat me on the bed with new clothes. I changed into them and took my medicine.
Tay: Okay look up at me.
I looked up and she flashed a flashlight in my eyes. She nodded writing something down.
Jayden: What are you writing down?
Tay: She seems back to normal. take her out into the lobby for food.
They nodded and lead me to the lobby. I sat down looking around. I stopped laying my eyes on some guys. He was looking out the window. He turned looking at me and smiled. He got up and walked towards me.
August: I see they brought you back.
Jayden: I'm sorry?
August: It's me August. This is the 3rd time this week you passed out from low blood sugar.
Jayden: Sorry my head is pounding still.
August: It's cool. As long as you're alright. So is it the medicine that make your blood low?
Jayden: What medicine?
August: Ya know what they give you for being in here?
Jayden: In where?
August: Mental hospital.
I froze. How did I end up in here?
Jayden: Did I ever tell you how I got in here?
August: Killed your ex boyfriend and bestfriend because they were together.
Jayden: Son of a bitch Kory. I didn't kill him. I dont know how he died.
August: And there's that memory.
I smiled looking at him. He moved my hair behind ears. I looked down.
August: It cool gorgeous. We're in here together now.
Jayden: Guess that's a good thing.
He smiled and laughed. He kissed my cheek then turned towards the table. They brought my food and I started eating.
Tay: Eat up Washington.
Jayden: Yes ma'am.
Tay: August. May I see you in the next room?
August: For what?
Tay: Because I said so.
He shrugged and got up following her.

I closed the door and looked at August. I looked back at Jayden.
Tay: She was proven innocent. She leaves in a week.
August: What's your point? I get out tomorrow because I'm innocent.
Tay: I know. I want you to wait for her. You're the only person that can protect her.
August: What makes you think she'll want to be with me?
Tay: Watch this. Come on.
I walked out with him behind me. I sat next to her. She looked at me worried.
Tay: You're innocent.
Jayden: Huh?
Tay: You get out next week. You were proven innocent. August gets out tomorrow. He'll be waiting on you when you walk out.
Jayden: Really?
She smiled at him and he smiled back. She hugged him.
Tay: Have a great day.

1 week later
August
I leaned on my car waiting for to come out. She walked out and I smiled. She smiled running to me. She jumped on me and I caught her.
Jayden: Thank you for waiting for me August.
August: Anything for you.
Jayden: So where do we go from here?
August: Well I have a house in Puerto Rico. Say we go there and figure the rest out.
She smiled and nodded yes. We got in the car and I started it up. I grabbed food out the back seat and she smiled. She picked up a drink and raised it.
Jayden: To our new life.... Together!
I looked at her and she leaned over kissing me. I pulled away and smiled.
