Suicide Note

Day

I could hear the pleasurable noises come from my father and that woman he brought over, he must have picked up that skank in the streets. I hid in my closet, in fear that if I play Attack and Attack Go and make the slightest noise, he'll bring out Buddy. I trembled in fear of the thought of that fearsome chain that gave me so many scars and bruises. I look around my closet and I see what I normally see, darkness. The noises stop and I hear movement, I believe they have finished. "That'll be $50," spoke the woman, and I could hear my dad grunt like a pig and grab his wallet, handing over the $50. I hear the door close and my father calls me into the room. I get out of the closet and my room and promptly head over into the living room. My dad has a wide grin across his face and his eyes are closed, "you did a good job keeping quiet Eric, I have to get dressed and go to work, goodbye." The grin instantly disappears and he heads over to his room to get dressed for "work". I put this in quotations because all he does is go to some different states for weeks, months even. I'm not saying it sucks, I'm actually really thankful, no beatings, and no harmful words. He gets out of his room with his lazy clothing wear (a t-shirt with jeans and sandals), grabs his car keys, and heads off to "work". I return to my room and turn on my laptop, just before I open Attack and Attack GO, I get a message from my friend Isaac, the only friend I have left. "Yo Eric, see that you're online, wanna chat for a little?" I send him, "sure," and I get a call from him.
I've been in a call with Isaac for two hours and still going, we started with just talking about school and how I should attend it more, and then we moved on to playing Attack and Attack GO, and before I could plant the bomb is sector C, I hear the notification sound from when I get a text on PalChat (the application I'm using to call Isaac and text him). I plant the bomb and wait for the 'VICTORY' or 'DEFEAT' label to pop up. We win the game and I tab out of Attack and Attack GO and check my messages. It's from Aika. I instantly go quiet and Isaac starts to worry, "Eric, you okay?" he says with his loud booming voice, I respond back with a simple yes, and he gives me a long sigh, "It's Aika, isn't it?" I refuse to respond to him, "Eric, you shouldn't be overreacting about this, it was just a bad breakup you'll get-" before he can finish his sentence I roar at him, telling him to shut up, he sighs again and then hangs up the call. I'm left there alone, in the hell I call my life. Then, I hear a call, I check to see who it's from and it's her, Aika. I let it ring for awhile until she hangs up. And then I hear another call, again from Aika, I answer this time. Her camera is on and her smile that I love so much pops up on her beautiful face, "You answered!" she said cheerfully waving a hello to me. I turn on my camera and wave back. Aika is one of those girls who you know is a flat out geek, she wears Attack and Attack GO hoodies, somewhat torn jeans, black Vans, a beanie with pins attached to it and purple glasses. She has beautiful wavy brown hair, green eyes, and smile you just can't say no to. Meanwhile I on the other hand, I wear a hoodie, gym shorts, and sandals, I'm not the bad kind of fat but I guess you can say I'm below average, I have black hair, black eyes, a big nose with a lot of acne, a stupid smile, and fairly bushy eyebrows. We talk for a little, how our day was, what we're up to, until she says these words. "I miss you," I go quiet and I feel a tear run down my cheek, I croak back, "I miss you too Aika," and her smile gets bigger, I love that smile so much. Realizing what I just said, I freak out and immediately hang up. She texts me the words "I love you" and I shut down my computer. I am now alone again crying. I get up and walk towards the refrigerator in the kitchen, tears still running down my face. I open the refrigerator and pull out a cold fresh beer, I pop open the beer and chug it down. As soon as I'm done, I throw away the can and walk into my room and throw myself into my bed, immediately being sucked into it. I close my eyes, take a deep breath and whisper the words "I love you too Aika," and I fall asleep.
