"Wolf Blood"

Chapter 2

Taehyung Pov

I woke up 20 minutes later by a knock on the door, I stood up limping down the stairs. As I kept getting closer to the door the knocking kept going "I'm coming, don't rush me" I said in annoyance.

Now that I was in front of the door, I reached towards the handle and slowly opened the door revealing a nervous Minjae.

"Taehyung!! Are you okay?!". Minjae yelled as he jumped on me knocking me off my feet.
"I was.... before you decided to jump on me". He gave me a sheepish smile as he stood up helping me in the process.
"Sorry, Hyung I--" he started apologizing to me but stopped when he saw me trying to contain my laugh. I immediately got my composure together and started walking toward the living room. I heard him close the door and his footsteps behind me.

"Hyung....you should laugh more it's nice to hear it once in a while". I heard him mumble but decided to ignore it.

Minjae Pov

I was walking around the kitchen looking for something to munch on. When I got the text messages from Taehyung telling me to come over with the First Aid Kit. I get annoyed and pissed off knowing what's going on with him but not being able to do anything to help my Hyung. I and Taehyung started being Best Friends ever since that time on the roof.

*Flashback*

It was around 6:29 am during breakfast time, and I was dying from boredom. And decided to wander around the school campus when I remembered the school's roof.

Once I had thought about the roof, I immediately headed over there it had taken me a couple of minutes because of the stairs.

When I stepped into the roof, I immediately groaned I was so out of shape.
As I was trying to catch my breath I started looking around at the scenery.

I was amazed at how the school was able to afford all this. Beautiful cherry blossom trees, a water fountain in the center of the roof, and silver benches going around it.
(I wonder why no one comes up here)
I kept walking and looking around.

When soft whimpers coming from behind a cherry tree caught my attention, curiosity got the best of me, and I started walking toward where the sound was coming from.

To tell you the least I for sure wasn't expecting to see a fragile-looking boy sitting close to the edge of the roof his legs dangling in front of him.

"I don't think it's safe to be sitting there". I said warning him, he didn't react to my comment for a couple of minutes until he slowly turned around and responded.

"And I don't think I asked for your opinion".
"Well excuse me for trying to be nice". I was about to leave.
But the same soft whimpers from a couple of minutes ago had stopped me in my tracks.

I turned around and looked at him again and that's when I saw the tears rolling down his cheeks.

He noticed me staring at him and yelled at me to leave.
After a couple of seconds, he stopped and stood up, and got even closer to the edge.
I somehow processed the situation quickly and ran towards him and was able to catch him before he fell forward.

He had trashed around in my arms too much. That I had no other option but to throw him over my shoulder and carry him to a bench.

For a while, we just sat there in silence until he had spoken and started questioning me and so did I after some talking, we both got comfortable with each other to the point where he trusted me enough to keep his house life between the two of us.

*END of flashback*

After that eventful day, I made a promise to myself that I would try my best to protect my Hyung as much as I can...... But so far, I haven't been doing such I great job at it......
