"Wolf Blood"

Chapter 10

Jungkook P.O.V

I slowly opened my eyes and was met with a pounding headache.

What happened? I took a quick look around and that's when a flashback came to me.

"Taehyung!" I yelled. I rushed out the door, sniffing the air for the scent of my mate.

I frankly ran around the clinic in desperation. Why am I not detecting his scent!

Frustration was building inside me, and that was never a good thing. I looked around the clinic watching pack mates slowly retreating away from me.

I let a growl signaling them to move faster they weren't the target I was looking for; my wolf was getting agitated and was starting to fight me for control.

This was the reason I hesitated on finding my mate, this feeling of desperation and dread can make one go mad. Just not being near him is hard for me, my body fills with anxiety, and my judgment gets clouded easily it's as if my mind, body, and soul lives only for him.  And as much as I want to make myself hate this feeling I can't, Im addicted already.

"Jungkook!"

I turned and made contact with the perpetrator.

Without hesitation, I ran at him, grabbed him by the neck, and slammed him against the wall.

"Where is he, Doctor!?" I hear him whizzing, "I-I'll take.... you to h-im if you could just put me down." I released him after a few seconds of contemplating.  He fixed his composure and spoke, "I am warning you Jungkook, what you're going to see and hear from me is not something you or your wolf are going to be able to handle." I let out a growl, "Just take me to him" He just nodded and started walking.

We arrived at an isolated area of the clinic and stopped at a door, "I managed to clean and bandage his injuries, as well as inject him with some sedatives so to help him sleep.  At the moment he is resting...now...Ju-Jungkook... this is the part that's hard to tell and I don't know how to tell you this with ought having you and your wolf going on a rampage ......"

I looked him over, As I spoke.

"Dr, I would recommend getting to the point. I'm already not in control and having you hesitate is not making it any better, agitating my wolf right now is not a smart move."

I saw him sigh once again.

"Maybe we should have this conves-"

Before he could even finish his sentence, I slammed him against the wall.

I leaned in real close and whispered. " You're making this much harder than it should be"

I felt him clawing at my hand trying to break free.

But it was futile and amusing having him struggle as I gripped his neck even harder.

"Ok, we are going to try this again. You will tell me everything that is wrong with my mate with ought having you beat around the bush."

"O-okay." I heard him wheeze out.

Content with his answer I released my hold on his neck.

"O-kay, okay" He spoke in a raspy voice, as he looked me in the eye.

"There are a few things I noticed as I was checking him over......that we're quite alarming some more than others.... for starters, he is severely malnourished, seems to be the effects of not having a proper meal in years, on top of this his whole body is littered with deep whip-slashes, bruises and burn marks that seemed to be from cigarettes being intentionally put there by someone, as for the bruises and whip-slashes some are freshly made and some seem to be from decades ago. I can assume this has been going on for a long time already......I did some x-rays as well and the results weren't good his ribs are severely damaged, it's going to take some time before they are fully healed......and the most concerning part........"

What came after brought me to my knees.
