Hello darkness, my old friend. I've come to gather my thoughts in you again.
Something I always thought I'd never like is silence. But once you've actually had a moment of pure silence, you'll want more moments like it.
For example: Say you're trying to figure out a storyline for a new story you've came up with, but you can't, for the love of you, concentrate because of the noise and chaos around you. If you can grab a moment of peace and quiet, that is the absolute best moment to close your eyes, take a deep breath, and spread out your ideas in your mind's eye and figure your stuff out, organize it, put it in order.
Your thoughts become clearer within the sound of silence.
