"Is Taehyung still there?" You asked while hiding behind the bookshelf at the library. "He's gone." Your friend Eunseo replied which made you sigh in relief. You went beside her and sitted next to her as you just stared at her while she's reading a novel you don't know, and you don't even care to know.

She then placed the book at the table and faced you, "Can you freaking tell me what's going on in here Y/N? All Taehyung did is to look and search for you and you, you just kept on hiding. Are you guys playing a hide and seek or something?"

You sighed as you looked away, "You know...."

"I know what? You're making me tell stupid lies to him, and I think if you'll continue hiding like this, I'll be running out of lies." She said. "So, can you tell me what is what now?"

"Okay okay, calm yourself I'll tell you now," you said to stop her from asking. "I've been holding this commitment ever since I got broken by my boyfriend from the past. I mean, he just made me believe his stupid lies. And then there's me.... I believed him, that he loves me. But he really didn't..."

"O.....kay?" Eunseo asked.

"I had this commitment that I will never do fall for someone again. I survived for years, but then he came....."

"Taehyung?" She asked.

"Yes, and he ruined everything. And I feel, the more I accompany him each day, I fall for him deeper and deeper..." You continued.

"Ahh.. So that's it? But how about your friendship with him? As I can see, you two have been close for the past few months." She asked again. "I don't know. That's why I'm avoiding him these past few days." You answered.

"He's missing you. He always do ask me if you're okay, are you eating well, if you're feeling well, and... I forgot! There's a lot of stuffs he's asking about you," She paused. "And I can see it in him, in his eyes. He seemed to be abandoned by his own mom, but you know, it's just you."

And then you felt guilty. You're avoiding him these days but all he did was searching for you and worrying about you. And then there you are, hiding. "Stop telling those kind of stuffs! You're not helping!"

"But it's all the truth! I'm actually thinking of telling him the truth because he seemed so pitiful!" She fired back. "You know what? You're so selfish. You just kept on thinking about yourself. But didn't even cared about how he's doing right now." She then stated.

"SHHH! Quiet please! You're in the library, so please lower down your voices. If you can't, the door is widely open. You can now go." The librarian said while staring at the two of you. You just looked down and went outside but your friend Eunseo didn't even followed you. You then remembered what Taehyung told you back then,

'Whenever I'm sad, I have no doubts of going here at the park. It's windy and it's quiet. Peaceful and relaxing. Like you're free from any problems.'

The bell rang as you went back to your classroom and saw no Eunseo nor Taehyung. And by that, you decided to go outside as you passed by the park and sat alone in the bench. You watched the sunset and thought of Taehyung. You really do miss him. You avoided him but it didn't helped even a bit. And you felt like it even grew stronger and deeper. You sighed and closed your eyes but a little boy in your peripheral vision caught your attention. He's staring at you while holding his red balloon.

"Noona, you look so sad. Don't be sad." He said as he went even nearer at you and then pouted in front of you which made you smile. "I'm not sad, I'm just thinking of something.." You replied. "You still look sad noona, hmmm.. I'll give you my balloon instead!" He said as he handed you his balloon. "Ahh, ani! You bought that yourself, so you should keep it." You replied as you gave him a warm smile.

"Please noona? Please?" He said as he pouted and showed his puppy eyes.. "Aish. Arasseo. I'll get this one." You said as you picked his balloon and smiled widely at him, "Yaay! Noona is very happy!" He said as he kept on jumping.

"Sujin-ah! Let's go home!" His mom called. "Ah. Goodbye noona. I'll be going home. Whoever the person you're waiting for will be coming. I'm sure!" He said as he ran away and left.

"That cute kid," you muttered as you laughed a bit. You went back to normal and decided to go home but, "Y/N." You heard his voice, again. After a week of avoiding him, you heard his deep voice again. You continued to walk but he grabbed your hand as he held your shoulders and made you face him.

"Y/N." He called. So that he can't notice your situation, you gave him a smile. "Oh, Taehyung. Why? Do you need something?" You asked.

"I'll make it straight to the point," He started. "Why are you avoiding me?" He asked.

You stared at him for a minute because you just don't know what to say, and after that, you faked a laugh. "What are you talking about? I'm not avoiding you!" You said as you laughed and removed his hands from your shoulders.

"Stop lying Y/N,"

"I'm not lying, I'm just busy. Okay?" You lied. Wanting to leave, you looked at your wristwatch and spoke, "Sorry, Taehyung. I have to go." You were about to leave, you turned your back but he grabbed your hand again as you got trapped in his warm body. "I missed you." He whispered.

"U-Uhm, I have to go." You said as you pushed him away and started walking away. "Y/N, stop avoiding me, please." You heard him pleaded which made you stop.

"I know you're avoiding me. I don't know what've I done, but I'm deeply sorry for that. If I hurted you, I'm sorry but I didn't meant to do whatever it is. We can't be forever like this. Please, I miss your company. I miss you by my side." He said as he wore a serious look on his face.

"Aish, I'm just going home. Arasseo?" You said as you looked back for a second. "You're lying. I know and I feel that there's a reason behind what's happening between the two of us. Just tell me so that I can change I can't stay here wit--"

"Stop it!" You exclaimed as you looked at him again, and this time you continued walking. But again you got surprised when he appeared in front of you. Ofcourse he ran towards you and spoke, "Y/N, let's talk. Please, let's fix this. I'll change, I promise."

"There's no problem with you because the problem is with me!" You shouted at him which made his eyes grow larger.

"You wanna know the reason?!" You asked as he slowly nodded. You stopped and realized that this is not the right time for him to know. You again walked and left him, but he again called you. "Y/N!"

"It's because I like you!" You confessed. " I don't want to fall in love again because of what happened from my past. I succeeded but you ruined everything! That's why I'm avoiding you, this isn't easy for me! So better off, we must part ways." You added.

You sighed and turned around but things went fast, he grabbed your wrist and pulled you even closer, as he rested his forehead against yours. By that your heart is already racing. He just smiled and closed his eyes, "Aish. You bad girl, why didn't you told me earlier? You're so naughty." He started. You don't understand yourself why you are choosing to stay with him in a position like this. But one thing is on your mind, you don't want this to end.

"I like you too. You're not the only one Y/N. So please, stop avoiding me. I'm missing you. Hm?" He added.
