What if we had reset buttons?
What if with a single touch ,, you could erase everything that has ever happened?
Forget every sound...
Every face..
Every colour..
Every smell..
Forget your life..
Will being a blank page help?
Will it be better than saving them?
Living with the memories a painful life,
Or starting afresh as a totally newborn person?
It is just that ,, is resetting a cowardly thing to do?
Escaping from the pain rather than facing it
Who would't want to reset?
I'm just afraid that ..
If we all had reset buttons,
Then we will reset whenever we are in pain..
Whenever we want to forget the torture..
Whenever we want to heal the wound..
But then no one will know the other,,
We would be in world of strangers
No different than .. Robots..
But then ,
Isn't it the pain that makes us human ?
Isn't making mistakes and enduring the pain the keypoint to survival?
I guess we will never know
Because all we have for now
Is the "exterminate" button
It is pretty more effective , trust me
It erases you completely... You die...
