Chapter 1.

"Jewel my love, I know it's a Saturday but you know we have to be there by 2:00pm sharp. Don't you?" my mum called from downstairs.

"Be where?" I thought to myself shortly.

" Yeah, yeah, you know mum, I'll probably be ready before you." I replied jokingly.

That was never going to happen, it was just a fact that I would take forever to get dressed, I liked to look good, but I was incredibly indecisive.

I was also extremely forgetful, Kayla my best friend constantly reminds me that if my head wasn't screwed on I'd forget that somewhere.

"Where are we going?" I thought to myself again, just as the thought left my head my phone rang from its place on the floor... someone was texting me?

I stretched over to see a notification for an unread message,

"van dyke" I said to myself quietly reading the pop-up on my screen.

"Van dyke!" I repeated more urgently,

Kent Van Dyke, just your average day hottie, not to mention the love of my life since like forever. When we were younger; him and I were mad in-love, we went on and off but things never really got complicated. We just had an understanding of each other.

"Why was he texting me?

Oh my goodness does he want to know how I am?

Ask if I had fun last night? ( I obviously did, I was with him)" I wondered.

Calm ruled over my body once I realized he was probably asking for answers to a test. Shmurr.

Just as I hit the 'read' button my mum shouted from downstairs, for me to get my ass into the shower.

After a long shower.

All dressed up I felt re-energized and ready to go.

Go... go where exactly? I reminded myself, where were we going?

Just as I was about to turn the knob on my door, it opened for me, by my Mum asking if her 'butt looked big in this?' She wore a fitting V-neck dress that had four creases  on either side of the dress, it was a royal blue with immense detail at the bottom.

I hadn't ever seen her in this dress, but I liked it, it matched her eyes well. I thought that maybe I was a little under-dressed but I was reminded that for my mother, her outfit was Casual-Smart.

My mother was a tall, tanned and curvy woman who looked good in anything she threw on. Her bright blue eyes always looked at you in a way that made you feel wanted, she was a tease I have to say, but never took Anything to far. she could always put a smile on my face.

She was a kind generous woman, but strong and firm.

My mum was very open and smart, she made friends everywhere she went, charming everyone. She was Beautiful.

" Ready?" she asked as she skimmed my body with those wonderful eyes, and a broad smile on her face.

" Ready" I replied

"Wait I forgot my phone" I said as I ran back up the stairs, it still lay there on the floor, with one unread message.

"Crap" I thought to myself,

"I forgot to read it, let alone reply." I thought guiltily.

Beep beep,

My mother sounded with the horn of the car.
