Girl Meets Confusion

It's been about four months since Maya had met Riley's group of friends which consisted of Missy Bradford, Sarah Carpenter, Zay Babineaux and Charlie Gardener.

Two months into those three months, Maya had gotten into a relationship with Missy Bradford, one of the "rebels" of the group. They've gotten along since the second they first met. Maya had showed her confidence and Missy loved it; so here they were, holding hands, walking with their other friends, Riley, Sarah, Zay, and Charlie through the streets of New York.

Missy looked around the city, uninterested in her surroundings; but Maya was still amazed as to how big it was. It was just like the first time she saw it all.

But Maya knew one thing for sure.

The looks of this big city were no where as beautiful as Riley Matth- Missy Bradford. She meant Missy, her girlfriend, right?

Besides, Riley seemed to be interested in Charlie. And Maya had a girlfriend. So it just wouldn't work.

"Maybe she's bisexual?" Maya thought to herself, remembering how desperate Riley's whimpers sounded when Maya teasingly brushed her lips against hers. But now she looked at Charlie in some admiring way that Maya new she would probably never receive from the brunette.

As Maya was thinking about Riley, Riley was thinking about Maya- and Missy. Riley didn't like seeing them together. She got this burning feeling of envy whenever she saw them getting close; she could feel the jealousy boiling and rushing through her veins as she looked at them as she walked with her two friends, Zay and Charlie behind them.

Riley was also having a little trouble coping with the entire "Maya and Missy being in a relationship" thing because Maya still flirts with her and does that teasing, lip brush thing which makes Riley freeze every single time.

She didn't want to jump to conclusions and say that she has a crush on Maya, but well, she has a crush on Maya. She knows that she could've made a move when Maya teased her those first few times, but she was so caught off guard and her heart was about to pound out of her chest. Maya made it impossible to breathe when she did actions like that.

Although, Riley has never seen Maya kiss Missy before or Missy kiss Maya. For the whole two months they've been together, had they kissed at all?

As Maya and Riley were rather confused about their feelings; Missy was beginning to grow suspicious. She saw the way that Maya and Riley could barely look each other in the eyes without blushing, and when every time she tried to kiss Maya, Maya quickly pulled away or turned her head, signaling that she didn't want to.

Truth be told, Maya just isn't ready; she isn't ready to step into this right away, which made her feel a little bad that she felt that way because it's been two months! Two months with a girl who has shown her all of her love. Two months with a girl who has been desperately trying to get some type of romantic contact out of her other than holding hands. Two months with a girl whom she didn't even love!
