»Time skip of a few weeks«

Farkle and Lucas, Maya's internet friends, have been said to be arriving very soon. Thus being why Maya's pacing around her bedroom nervously as Riley tried to calm her down.

"It's going to be okay, Maya. You have absolutely nothing to worry about." Riley spoke, trying to assuage Maya.

"Riley, these are my internet friends we're talking about. People I have never met before... oh god, what if they don't like my voice? They've never heard it before. Is it too loud? Too quiet? Riley, check my voice. La la la la la-" Riley stood up from the foot of Maya's bed and placed her index finger on the blonde's lips, shushing the girl.

"Maya, you don't have a thing to worry about. I mean seriously, do you really think they'll dislike you for something as simple as your voice?"

Maya thought for a moment. Farkle and Lucas aren't like that, they're genuinely nice and great people. They'll like me just as they always have.

"You're right. So so right. Thank you, princess." Maya smiled, standing on her tippy toes to give Riley a small, gentle kiss on the lips, earning a giggle and adorable grin from the taller brunette.

"And even if they don't like you.. I'll fight 'em." Riley said jokingly, putting up her two fists, punching through the air playfully.

"Gosh, just when I thought you couldn't get any cuter." Riley then blushed at that comment.

"What time will they be here?" Riley asked, taking the blonde's hand and bringing her down to sit on the foot of the bed with her. "They said two o'clock. I'm trusting that they'll be on time, but then again, Farkle's driving and he's a really clumsy fella." Maya laughed at the thought of how annoyed Lucas must be having to sit next to a dork like Farkle for a whole day and a half.

"I'm really excited to meet them, Maya!" Riley smiled brightly at the blonde, turning her body toward her.

Maya smiled back, just as cheerfully, "I'm sure they're excited to meet you too, beautiful." Riley blushed at the nickname.

"You know," Maya bit her lip, "You're really cute when you smile.. and I love those dimples of yours. They're so irresistible."

And somehow, Riley was blushing even harder, tilting her head downward, making her hair fall in her face to hide her blush.

"Don't cover up your beautiful face." Maya giggled, taking Riley's hair and moving it from her face to her back, then placed her fingers underneath Maya's chin, Riley's signature move, to make Riley look at her. And sure enough, Riley was blushing. As if she couldn't blush anymore, Maya placed one long, soft kiss on the brunette's lips, making both girls' stomachs flip.
