Chapter 23

I finally arrive at the warehouse, its quiet, too quiet. I get off my bike and look around, and I can't see anyone. Please let them be OK.

"JACK!" I scream, then I hear a familiar voice behind me.

"He is not here right now, so I'm going to have to do instead" I turn around and it's my mum.

"Mum?.....what are you doing?" I ask her trying to hold back my tears.

"Just helping an old friend. Plus I need the money" she said simply.

"What about me? Do I mean nothing to you....I'M YOUR DAUGHTER!" I scream at her.

"God don't you get it you little maggot! You were a mistake. You shouldn't of never of been born. As soon as you turned eighteen, I was going to tell you the truth about Christian to get him back, then I was going to get rid of you. I hated seeing your face everyday but if that what it takes to be with Christian then I had to do it. You just disgust me" she spits at me.
My tears started to flow. What a bitch! I loved this women, I thought she would protect me from everyone.

"Why give birth to me if you were just going to abandon me?" I ask throwing my hands in the air.

"Well, I wanted Christian" she said through gritted teeth. Oh my god I can't believe what I'm hearing.

"So what? When I turn eighteen you tell me and Christian we are related and we live happily ever after" I state.

"Yes is that so much to ask!" she shouts at me.

"You have been watching way to may disney movies" I said in a sarcastic tone.

"Well if that bitch never came into the picture then....." I cut her off.

"Don't you dare talk about Ana like that. She has been more of a mum to me in the past two weeks than you ever have in seventeen years!......your dead to me Elena" I seethed.

"What....I'm not mum anymore?" she smirks.

"Not for a long time" the tears weren't stopping. I can't believe she would do this.
"Enough of this bullshit. Where are my friends?" I ask.

"Oh you mean loverboy and little miss bezzie?" She said smiling.

"WHERE ARE THEY!" I scream.

"Now sweetheart you have a big decision to make" she said as she walks towards me. I'm shaking and I can barley move.

"This is quite a big place isn't it....it will probably take a good ten minutes to run from one end to the other" she said with a smirk. I look behind me at the wearhouse and it is really big. Where is she going with this?
"On one end is Ethan tied up and gaged....on the other is Belle and Grayson" I look to her. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I think I'm going to be sick.
"You have only time to save one" so smirked and suddenly I'm frozen.
OH MY GOD!
"So which is it going to be? Loverboy or your friends? Tock tock" she said sarcastically.

I look at the wearhouse again. Can I save all of them? No this can't be real!

"Please stop.....kill me.....you can kill me I'm just begging you please just let them go" I sob.
She makes her way even closer to me and leans in to whisper something in my ear.

"And where's the fun in that?" She whispers.

Oh god this women is twisted. What am I going to do?
What am I going to do?

I can save them! I can save them all.
I look back to Elena and then I start to run to one end of the warehouse.

I run as fast as I possibly can.
