"Well, how do I look?" Chloe said with a tentative smile. She twirled in front of Dan letting him absorb the full beauty of her blush pink Dior dress. It was strapless, floor lengthened, and worth thousands. Her hair was swept up into a high, voluminous ponytail that gleamed with shine. Her ears had dainty pearls, matching the embellishments on her dress.
Dan was left speechless. "You're... Amazing"
was all he could muster out.
Her radiance seemed to fill his whole world, every bad memory temporarily disintegrated from his mind as Dan felt true and absolute Bliss.
Chloe blushed, brushing away a fly away hair from her face. For the first time, she felt
self-conscious of her appearance. She wanted to be the girl that mesmerised Dan Humprehy with just a single glance. She was that girl.
Jenny Humphrey tugged on her homemade dress glancing in the mirror for a final look before her debut in front of Kalvin. Her dress seemed perfectly tailored and pitched black. It was dotted with black lace and silver beads. Its mid-calf length offset it gothic style and created a feminine balance. In other words, it's was a master piece. She slipped on some black satin pumps and threw her long blonde hair over one shoulder.
"Ta-da!" She awkwardly muttered as she gave a brief twirl in front of Kalvin.
His eyes gleamed with appreciation,
"Not bad Humphrey."
Jenny giggled shyly as she felt her cheeks warm up from blushing. Kalvin looked extra crisp in a streamlined black tuxedo and pointy black dress shoes that gleamed in her loft's rustic lighting.
"Is that for me?" She asked with a smile, eyeing the corsage Kalvin held in his hand.
He gave a silent nod and pulled her closer to him as he gently slipped the elegant navy blue rose on her pale wrist. It flattered her dress and eyes perfectly, not at all taking any attention away from her striking dress.
"You know me so well." She smiled flirtatiously.
Kalvin shrugged "I just understand you more then any other girl I've ever met. Your really something special Jenny Humphrey."
Jenny sighed as she stared into Kalvin's blazing eyes. Her heart felt like it was melting and all she wanted to do was share thousands of night with her true love, Kalvin Bradford.
