Chloe turned to the dressing room looking at her reflection dully. The peach coloured shorts she had worn on hugged her body in all the right places and her cropped crochet sweater gave her an enchanting look. Yet, the sight of her looking remotely happy was just a cover up for her true emotions. She sighed took off her clothes and tried on the next set of clothes her personal shopper had picked out for her."Too....colourful." She though as she tried on a bright blue romper with bell selves and beaded details.
"Too....Bland." Chloe said as she looked at the satin shirt hanging on the door.
Everything she looked at was just TOO something, nothing seemed right. It was like her life, a jumble or disorganised thoughts, just didn't fit together.
How did Jaleesha Waldorf, her Bestfriend since forever, end up with Dan Humphrey, the boy she wanted since she laid her eyes on him. Jaleesha and Dan..... she thought to herself constantly, they couldn't have been more different.
A knock on the dressing room door, interrupted her thoughts and Chloe called out "Almost Done!" No reply came as the door knob twisted and the door slowly opened.
Chloe gasped at her reflection, she wore nothing but her nude coloured underwear and bra.
Chloe braced herself as she had no idea who was entering the dressing room.
Before she was about to scream out for help, Dan Humphrey popped his head in, his eyes instantly casted downwards.
"Sorry if I scared you." He mumbled. Even after he said it, he made no move to leave the room and Chloe hugged her clothes to her body, attempting at covering it up.
"Dan what are you doing here?" Chloe hissed.
Dan's jaw became set and his eyes turned hard as he looked up and made eye contact with Chloe. Her big eyes seemed to bore into him and he took a step closer, closing the door behind him. Chloe sucked in her breath speechless at what he was doing.
"I....I need to tell you something." He said, his eyes still intense.
"Well I'm kind of busy right now so make it quick." She said as the room became hotter as she felt the warmth of her body clashing with the warmth of his.
"It's always been you and it always will be. Jaleesha...... she doesn't mean as much to me as you do and she never will, the only person I'v ever fallen for is you."
"How can I trust you after everything you just did come on Dan you slept with her TWICE."
"I felt nothing, I wasn't doing it for love I was doing it to relive stress and I could tell she was doing it for stress as well. I don't know what's happening it your social circle but what I do know is what happened was not real."
"I want to believe you Dan but really what's the point me and you don't work we never have no matter how or how many times we try."
"We have to keep trying please."
Chloe looked at him trying to process.
"Chloe there's not a lot of things in my life I'm sure about but I know that I certainly Love You I'v never loved someone so much."
Dan's eyes were earnest as he reached forward and placed his palms on her cheek. He leaned until their noses grazed. Chloe's eyes casted downwards, but she couldn't help leaning in a little too. Their faces finally mad contact as his soft warm lips lingered over hers. Dan pulled her closer and kissed her with bright passion. Chloe dropped her clothes on the floor, pulling her hands forward and laying them on his back.
