John activated the tannoy once more . " Joffrey Williams , I know you can hear me , I believe we are the last of the people in this building, will you show yourself to me and answer for your crimes as a man or do I have to hunt you down like a dog ? ."

Music started to play throughout the building , John spoke again

"When this song has finished you will have minutes left to live , I suggest you use your time to make peace with your god and yourself "

the song played on , it's words offered no comfort

Death is not the answer , your fate is more refined

You're gonna wish you never were , when I'm through with your mind

Terror beyond your wildest thoughts , climb up the walls and scream

He activated the elevator and brought it down to the fortieth floor , he took the stairs up two last stories to the top floor , carefully he eased open the door and slipped into the corridor , he sent the elevator up to the top floor . He heard voices round the corner .

"The elevator is on the move again , be ready "  said one

"he won't get past us" said another

" as soon as the doors open , let him fucking have it " said a third .

the song played on as John rolled two smoke grenades towards the voices .

wearing heat sensing goggles John could see his would be assailants with ease through the smoke , they were coughing and disorientated , he pulled out a silenced pistol and aimed carefully , three shots in short succession , three more bodies hit the floor . the song played on .

The song finished as John kicked open the door to the top floor C.E.O's office .

" Joffrey Williams , I know you are in here, I know where in here you are hiding, come out and face me , leave the gun on the floor it will not save you , this is your first and last opportunity to come out peacefully."

There was no response , John tapped his screen again and the door to the 'secret' panic room clicked and gently swung open .

" Perhaps you didn't hear me ..."
