-The girl has a lot of insecurities but as soon as one of the guys calls her pretty or something, they instantly go out the window. All right then. Pretty sure it takes a little more than that but okay.

- Michael and his girl toy dye their hair to match each other's.

-The last chapter is either a wedding or a funeral. There is no in between.

-Normal, or dare I say, common, names are nearly extinct in fanfictions. Can't have a normal Chloe or Chelsea, has to be completely different and something that if the person existed in real life, they would probably get made fun of for it.

-Somebody dies and the one left living goes to said dead person's grave and talks to them like everyday or something.

-There's a car crash and either everybody dies or nobody dies. Oh and let's not forget the one where everybody gets out just fine except for the girl who ends up in a coma that will only go away if she gets kissed by her boyfriend/ favorite band member. Since when was this sleeping beauty?

-The main character is best friends with a whole bunch of celebrities. Is it bad that I'm jealous of a fictional character that is way too cliché for her own good?

-The author, if you can even call her that, apologizes for writing a cliché story but does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO FIX IT.

-You get super into a good fanfic but then realize it hasn't been updated since like 2014 or something. Well, that sucks. Almost as much as the main character.

-When a story is made up of like 30 filler chapters and very minimal action. Everything's perfectly fine until the guy like, lies to her or something and then he apologizes and BOOM everything's wrapped up and congratulations, you have just read the most boring story ever.

-The girl is bullied profusely by a band member but not because he's a bully, but because he loves her. And even though he's tormented her for years, she starts to love him too and falls right into his arms.

-They go into an abandoned building at night and go to the roof top even though it would probably be pretty dangerous seeing as the building is freaking abandoned and falling apart.
