Never Been In Love

I Miss Him.

"Love's A Game Want To Play?" My alarm clock sang. I sighed, rolled over and turned off my alarm. I don't want to go to school I thought to myself. I got up, and headed towards the bathroom, I looked in the mirror and sighed, "Will I ever be pretty?". I had a quick shower, got out and put on a Twenty One pilots band tee, and some skinny jeans. I brushed my teeth, and headed downstairs. My brother Kyle was already eating breakfast. 

"Leave me anything?" I asked, as I walked into the kitchen. 

"Bacon's in the microwave" he said, not taking his eyes off the TV. 

I grabbed some bacon along with a glass of milk and sat down next to him. He was watching Spongebob. I laughed, my brother is in grade 9 still watching good old spongebob. 

"What?" He asked me with a confused look on his face. 

"Nothing" I smirked, and continued watching Tv with him. 

I looked at the clock, it was 8: 30am, time to go and catch our bus to school.I put my plate and cup in the sink, and grabbed my bag. Kyle followed behind me, and we walked to the bus. As we were walking, I saw my best friend Maddy coming towards me. Maddy lives down the street from us, so we get to take the bus together. 

"MADDY" I shrieked with a huge smile on my face. She came up and hugged me. 

"Hey Lisa, what's up?" She asked with a smile. Maddy and I have been friends since grade 7, we're in grade 12 now. She's always been there for me, we've been through so much together. 

"Not that much, You?" I asked. 

"Homework. School can be a pain in the butt." She shrieked. 

"Tell me about it, Biology is honestly killing me" I sighed. We got to our bus stop and my brother ran off to his friends who also take the same bus as us. 

The bus arrived and Maddy and I just talked about random things, she told me about how her brother really wanted to make dinner last night, but he ended up burning everything. I told her about how i stayed up listening to Twenty one pilots, and so forth. 

We got to school and our group of friends were waiting for us, Sarah, Vennessa, and Kallie. We walked up behind them and gave them all a big hug. Even though our group was small, we were all so close. Sarah was the one who was all about Grades, her parents wants her to get into a really good university, so she's constantly worrying about her grades and is always studying. Vennessa is the loud one, she's always talking really loud. I guess you can say she's the craziest out of all of us. Kallie was the bad-ass, she didn't take crap from anyone and always calls us out when we tell bullshit, but is always the first to stand up for all of us. Maddy, was the shy girly one of the group. Some may say she's the leader of our little group. I, well I don't know what I was in the group. I keep good grades, but i'm not obsessive, I'm not loud but not too shy, and I don't ever have the guts to stand up for myself. 

"Hey Lisa and Maddy" Vennessa said to us with a huge smile. We headed up to mine and Maddy's locker, we went to mine first since it was closest. 

"So Sarah, How was your's and Tyler's date last night?" I couldn't help but ask. Tyler was the boy Sarah had been crushing on since grade 9, and they recently started hanging out a lot, and Tyler ended up asking her out on a date. 

"Oh My Gosh! I t was perfect, He took me to this amazing restaurant, and he was such a gentlemen and he kissed me goodnight too!" She squealed. I was so happy she had such a good night with Tyler. 

"Did he ask you out again?" Kallie asked. 

"YES" She shrieked, and we all started freaking out, everyone began starring at us but we didn't care, our girl got a second date!

"Why do you guys always squeal? Are you like mice or something?" We looked over and saw Jake. Jake was the school Asshole. He used to date Maddy back in Grade 10. Back then he was super sweet, he was actually shy and not very confident. Maddy loved him, and when they began dating he treated her so well, but then all of a sudden he changed, and started harrassing Maddy. The reason Maddy broke things off with him was because he ended up punching her in the face because she didn't do what he asked her to do. 

"Go away Jake, No one wants you here" Kallie growled. 

"Come on, I know Maddy does" He smirked, I looed over at Maddy, and she looked like she was about to burst into tears.

"GO AWAY" Kallie yelled. He rolled his and walked off. 

"You Okay?" I asked Maddy. 

"Yeah, I just wish he fall down a hole and never come back" She shrieked. We all laughed.

"Trust us, we want him to fall down a hole too" Vennessa said. 

We quickly went to my locker, and I grabbed my things and then the bell rang. We all said goodbye and went our separate ways. I headed off to my first period class, which was Business. 

I walked into my classroom, and sat down at my computer. This class was fun, but at times could be so boring. I looked up to see Kalen walk in, I thought Kalen was so cute. He had perfect blue eyes, and amazing blonde hair. Unfortunately though he was dating a girl named Jaimie, and they had been dating since Grade 9. He sat down at the computer infront of mine, he smiled at me as he sat down, and I smiled back. Than his friend Lucas walked in and sat down next to him. I didn't really like Lucas, he gave me weird vibe, but I barely knew him, so who am I to judge?

"Lisa what did we do yesterday?" Lucas asked. 

"Nothing, Just wrote a note, I can send it you, if you'd like?" I said. he nodded, and I got his email,a dn sent him the note. 

"Thanks Lisa" He said, and I smiled at him. 

Classes went by pretty fast, it was just another Tuesday, Nothing special about today. Lunch finally came, and I headed off to Kallie's Locker. Kallie and I are the only one out of out group to have fourth lunch so her and I always eat together. While I was waiting at her locker, I saw Danny. Danny is the boy I've been crushing on since Grade 9. Him and I used to be best friends, but 5 months ago, he just stopped talking to me. I barely see him now, and ignores me in the halls. Back in grade 9, i thought of him more as a brother, but now that I haven' talked to him, I've realized and just told myself that to make sure I wouldn't fall for him, but i ended up falling for him anyways. 

"Lisa" Kallie said, as she walked up to me and hugged me. 

"Oh hey, kallie" I said as I watched Danny walk by me. He didn't even acknowledge me as walked passed me. It was as if I was invisible to him. I keep waiting for the day he will talk to me again but it seems like it's never going to happen. I really missed him.
