Never Been In Love

It was finally lunch time, I was waiting for Lucas at my locker. I was so excited to have some alone time with Lucas, I've been dying to just talk to him, and get to know him better. I looked up from my phone and saw Lucas coming towards me and a smile appeared on my face. He came up to me and gave me a hug, being wrapped in his arms was so perfect. 

"What's up beautiful?" he asked and held my hand as we began walking. 

"Not much, I missed you" I giggled. He smiled. 

"So tell me how has girl as perfect as you not had your first boyfriend" he asked, and this time since i knew he wasn't trying to be a jerk, i could honestly answer him and not get mad. 

"i don't know, I guess it's because i don't know how to flirt and i'm not many guys types so?" I answered, not sure of what else to say. 

"Nahh you're every guys dream" He said, I looked up at him (he's a bit taller than me), his brown eyes sparkled and caused me to smile. I looked back back to straight ahead a noticed Danny, he looked at me with a surprised look on his face. I than realized I was holding hands with Lucas. I watched Danny pass me, I looked back at him and he looked back at me, and then i sighed. As much as I wanted to believe I really liked Lucas, i was still not over Danny. 

We got to the pizza place and he ordered or pizza's and we went back to the school. We decided to sit outside since the weather was really nice. 

"So tell me something about yourself" Lucas asked as I sat down.

"Hmm I don;t know, what would you like to know?" I asked, and began eating my pizza. 

"Have any siblings?" he asked. 

"Umm yeah, I have a brother named Kyle, he;s in grade 9" I explained. 

"Oh nice, you two get along?" He asked. 

"Umm yeah for the most part, but of course just like any siblings we fight from time to time." I said,"Do you have any siblings" 

"Umm yes, a sister she;s 12," He said, "Her names Karissa."

"Awe that's such a pretty name" I said, and finished up with my pizza. Lucas laughed, "What?"

"Nothing, you just must of been really hungry, you practically inhaled that pizza. He laughed and i could feel my cheeks turning bright red. 

It was completely awkward, I just made a huge fool of myself. Then all of a sudden I started thinking about how Danny would never treat me this way. Danny was such a sweet person, we were such good friends and I was so comfortable around him. Then all of a sudden a memory of Danny and I floated into my mind..

"Danny!" I screamed from the other end of the hallway. I could see Danny waving his hands in the air. He was such a dork sometimes. "Lisa come here" he yelled, and I shook my head with a smirk on my face. We always did this after school, he would be at one end of the hall,and I would be on the other. We would wait a few minutes and make a bunch of silly faces at each other. After about five minutes we would run up to each other and meet up in the middle were we give each other a big hug. Today though, when we met up in the middle of the hallway, Danny picked me up and spinned me around. I was starring into his beautiful blue eyes, and I couldn't help but smile. He slowly brought me down, and in that moment I swore he as going to kiss me. "Come on Let's go" he said instead, but i knew by looking in his eyes, he wanted to kiss me. 

"Lisa?" Lucas said and i shook my head. 

" Sorry what did you say?" I asked, and my cheeks turned red again. 

"The bell rang" He said and got up and threw out our garbage. 

" Oh" I mumbled and got up and he held my hand again, and we walked into the school and hugged goodbye as we headed off to class. I just couldn't stop thinking about that day in the hallway with Danny, like did I even want to be with Lucas?
