Never Been In Love

I Need Help

Days had gone by with incident between Lucas, Danny and I. Danny had come over quite and few times, and is constantly calling me to see if i'm okay. I guess at this point in time Danny and I are best friends again. On the other hand though, I have not spoken to Lucas. He's called me, texted me and at one point showed up at my house but I didn't talk to him. I ignored him at school, and just avoided him in general. 

It was a Saturday night, and I was home alone watching Youtube Videos. Danny was at work, Kyle had gone out with his friends and my parents were out on a date night. I decided to put on a movie, i decided to watch one of my favorite movies How I live Now. I got up and made myself some popcorn. 

I was halfway done the movie when the doorbell rang. Everyone was busy and Lucas stopped bugging me after 3 days of me not responding, so I had no idea on who it could be. I paused the movie, put my popcorn bowl on the ground and walked over to the door. As I opened the door, I was surprised to see Maddy. 

"Umm Hey?" I said, and she walked inside, and I shut the door behind her. 

"We need to talk" She said, and we walked over to the living room and sat down. 

'Alright?" I said. She looked concerned and angry all at the same time. 

"I saw the video Lisa and I couldn't just wait around hoping to hear you broke up with him." She shrieked, "Lisa why haven't you broken up with him yet?" 

"I don't know!" I mumbled. 

"You need to breakup with him, He's not good for you!" She shrieked.

"Why do you care? I've tried calling you for weeks now, and you don't bother to answer the phone. So why be concerned for me now?" I growled. 

"You were always with Lucas Lisa, I wanted to talk to you, but I couldn't stand being around Lucas" She stated. 

"It's not my fault he's so controlling!" I yelled. 

"Lisa, you need to break up with him." She yelled.

"I can't!" I shrieked. 

"And why the hell not?" She screamed. 

"Because I'm scared of what he might do to me" I screamed so loud and I busted into tears. 

"Lisa, you can't let him control you Like this, Your afraid of your own boyfriend." She said. 

"I don't know what to do Maddy" I mumbled. 

"I've been in this situation, I know what you are going through. Jake did this to me and I can't let some random guy do the same thing Jake did to me, do to you." She said with a concerned voice. 

"I really want to break up with him, I do. I'm just so scared" I said.

"Lisa, I will be there for you when you break up with him. I'll help you get through this. You just need to promise me you will end this with Lucas" She said. 

"I will" I said, and she gave me a huge hug. 

"Now tell me what Movie are you watching?" She asked. 

"How I live now" I said and she smiled. 

"I realize it's almost over but that's okay" She said with a laugh. 

"Thanks Maddy for coming over, I missed you" I said. 

"I missed you too and I'm sorry for not coming over sooner" She said. 

"It's okay, I know I put myself in a shitty situation" I said. 

"Yeah but it's not your fault, this is your first boyfriend, how were you supposed to know he was going to be this horrible person!" She said.
