"I'm a nightmare dressed Like a daydream" My alarm clock sang. I moaned and and rolled over and turned off my alarm clock. My phone buzzed, I picked up off my night stand, to see I got a text from Lucas: Morning Sunshine, I'll see you at school! I smiled, I had never gotten a goody morning text from a boy before. I got up and headed for a shower. I chose a more comfy outfit to wear today, meaning sweats and a Taylor Swift Concert T-Shirt. I headed downstairs, there was a not on the fridge: Hey! Got a ride from Tommy's Mom, Went for Basketball Tryouts. -Kyle.

I was now Home Alone, "Hmm" I sighed, I looked at the clock I had 20 minutes to spare. PARTY TIME. I ran to my room and grabbed my speakers, ran back downstairs and hooked up my phone to the speakers and started blasting Shake it off.

I was spinning around, dancing, and in general just having such a good time "Cause the players gonna play play play play" I sang on the top of my lungs. I started laughing, I was so weird sometimes, but hey a girls got to have some fun. 

All of a sudden the doorbell rang, and I slipped and fell cause it sacred me so badly. I landed face first onto the floor. "ouch" I said as I lifted myself off the floor. I turned off my music and walked over to the front door. When I opened the door it was Danny?

"Umm Hi?" I said in confusion. What was he doing here? 

"Need a drive to school?" He asked. I gave him a blank look. He stops talking to me for 5 months and shows up at my door to drive me to school?

"Huh?" I said, I just couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that he was actually standing in front of me. 

"Do you need a drive?" He said with a slight smile. 

"Sure?" I said, I grabbed my bag, put on some shoes, and shut and locked the door behind me. I got into Danny's car, not sure of why he was driving me still. We were just sitting in silence, and I just couldn't take it anymore, "Danny, why the heck are you driving me to school? We haven't talked in 5 months."

"I know this is random, and I just.. I missed you Lisa. I Miss my best friend" he said with a sincere voice. All the memories started to float back into my head, we were such good friends, we did everything with each other but then something changed and he stopped talking to me. 

"But you were the one who stopped talking to me" I growled. 

"I know Lisa, and I'm sorry, Please can we be friends again" He pleaded. 

"I Don't know" I said, and things went quiet until we arrived at the school. He found a parking spot and then I got out the car, and he followed me. 

"Lisa, wait. I know what I did was stupid but please" He begged. I then remembered summer, and how horrible I felt. My best friend stopped talking to me for no reason. It was like out of nowhere he stopped answering my calls, stopped texting me back and when I went to his house no one would let me in. I was so broken, I felt so miserable, I started going through everything I ever said to him to make him hate me and I just couldn't figure it out. I was so angry, and so alone, I had no idea what to do. After thinking about what he put me through I knew I just couldn't let him walk back into my life without an explanation. 

"No. You can't just say sorry and expect everything to go back to the way things were. You were my best friend Danny and you cut me out. You decided we weren't friends anymore, you made that very loud and clear 5 months ago. So no Danny, I can't just be your friend" I yelled. 

"Lisa Please I can explain" Danny whined. I rolled my eyes and stormed off. 

Danny Can't just decide he wants to be my friend again after leaving me completely broken. I wasn't going to allow him. I took a deep breath and headed to my locker. I pushed all my anger aside, so Lucas wouldn't ask questions. I looked up to see Lucas waiting at my locker, finally someone who cared. 

"hey beautiful" He said and pulled me in for kiss when I reached my locker. I smiled as i pulled back so i could grab my things from my locker. 

"I missed you" I said and closed my locker. 

"I missed you more" He said and held my hand as we began walking to class. 

As I walked to class holding hands with Lucas, Danny walked past us, I rolled my eyes and Ignored him. I wanted to be friends with Danny, but I wasn't going to make it that easy for him. 

Lucas and I walked into class, and Kalen Looked up at us as we walked in. A huge smile grew upon his face when he noticed we were holding hands. 

"So I'm assuming your date Saturday night was a success?" Kalen asked. 

"Yeah it was" I blushed.

"I promise he will treat you well" Kalen said. 

Being with Lucas felt so right, I didn't have to worry about anything when I was with him. I knew he wouldn't hurt me the way Danny did. Lucas was everything I wanted.
