Chapter 20

For the rest of the night I paced my living room, Robbie was currently sleeping in my bedroom right now because I didn't want him going home by himself and Katie wind up hurting him. I started biting my nails when there was a knock on my door, I quickly walked over to it and looked through the eye hole before sighing and unlocking everything to let Gus and Niall in.

"Okay tell us what happened." Gus said as soon as he walked over the threshold, I placed my finger over my lips as to tell them to be quiet before walking down the hall to my bedroom. I looked at Robbie laying there before shutting the door, I walked back into the living room to see they made themselves at home. I turned on the radio just to tune out our conversation in case Robbie woke up, I sat down in my chair with a cup of raspberry tea before Niall spoke.

"Okay now can we know what happened?"

"I saw Katie today.."

"What?!" the both said while sitting up and looking at me.

I nodded and sipped my tea. "Yup, she walked right up to me while I was having dinner with Robbie."

"What happened?" Gus said sitting up and pulling out his phone.

"She said that she'd let me go but she said she going to finish what she started." I said shrugging lightly, I was trying to act like it was no big deal but in all reality I was scared shitless.

"Okay well we need to tell Harry." Niall said standing and taking out his phone, in two seconds I had both of their phones in my hand. They both looked at me in disbelief.

"No, please. He's dealing with stuff right now and frankly can't be worried about this. We have the funeral and Helen's surprise part...oh my god. Ohmygod, ohmygod, ohmygod." I said setting their phones down.

"What?" the both asked

"Frank just died and Helen's surprise party is something we can't have right now."

"Jessica calm down." Gus said getting up as I started around and trying to grab everything that was for Helen's party.

"I cant, okay guys you need to go."

"Not until you decide to calm down and go to bed. I'm sure you're run in with Katie today has you messed up in the head, so just give me this," Niall said taking everything I had in my hand as Gus grabbed their phones. They walked toward the door while I followed them begging for my stuff back. "No, this will be on your desk tomorrow morning, you can work on it then." he said before leaving with Gus, I groaned and locked the door before going and sleeping on the couch.

I tossed and turned all night, I could hardly sleep and when I did I ended up having Robbie wake me up telling me Im late for work. I jumped up and rushed into my bedroom, I checked the time to see I was thirty minutes late so I didn't have a time for a shower. I threw on black slacks, red tank top, black blazer and red flats before pulling my hair up in a ponytail and brushing my teeth fast enough to hurt my gums.

I rushed through the apartment grabbing my purse, jacket, phone and keys before leaving Robbie there. I took a cab and told the I would pay extra if he sped, and to my surprise he did and I arrived at work within fifteen minutes. I rushed in causing Alan to laugh at me as I got into the elevator I swiped my card before pressing Harry's office, I tapped my foot as I waited for the elevator and when it finally opened there stood Harry kissing some blonde's cheek before sending her my way as his eyes locked with mine.

I looked away as she walked by me, I hurried into my office while Harry stood there watching me. I shut my office door before turning to see that Niall was right everything he took from me last night was sitting on my desk, I took off my jacket and hung it up before sitting down at my desk. I logged into my computer before pulling up the website where you can upload the pictures of everything you want for your event and set it up how you imagine it in your head, I sighed and rubbed my face before picking up my phone.
