"Woah Katie, what the hell?" I said slowly stepping towards her, the fog that was wrapped around my brain earlier was gone now as she held the gun high at me.
"DON'T MOVE!" She yelled at me, I stopped in my tracks as she slowly moved towards me. I watched her every move at she decided to question me. "Why didn't you tell me you worked to Harry Styles?"
"I signed a contract that said I couldn't. Why is it such a big deal?" I asked her staring at her, she was no longer in the beautiful blue dress she was wearing hours ago. Instead her hair was pulled back in a tight ponytail and she was wearing a tight black shirt with tight black pants with matching boots.
"I have to kill you J," she had tears running down her face as she loaded the gun. "Im so sorry, I really wish I didnt have to but I cant let you live."
"Katie what the hell are you talking about? Where did you even get a gun?" I asked as I stepped towards her. I had no idea what was happening.
"I said Don't move!" she yelled as she shot the gun, everything went in slow motion once the gun was fired. I watched as the bullet flew my way, I moved out of the way just in time so it only grazed the top of my shoulder. I quickly ran at her knocking her down, she pointed the gun at me again before I grabbed her wrist and banged her hand on the floor knocking the gun out of her hand. Her hands flew to my neck as she rolled on top of me, she started choking me as I clawed at her face. I reached out and grabbed the first thing I felt, I held the vase she bought two years ago above her head before smashing it against her head. She fell off of me as I tried to get up, I ended up kicking off my heels while I tried to get passed her.
She jumped up while pulling a knife out of her boot, she ran at me and knocked me down before putting a small cut on my cheek. I punched her in her face but it didnt do anything, I grabbed the hand that was holding the knife and tried to turn it so it was facing her but I was too weak. She ended up cutting my hand before I grabbed her pony tail and yanked her off of me, I jumped up and grabbed my clutch before throwing the door open. I heard the gun fire more times while I ran down the hall, the bullets were flying past me, once of them grazed my leg ripping my already torn up dress. I hurried into the elevator pressing the close button, I knew she was probably was running down the stairs right now so as soon as the doors opened I ran out and hailed a cab. I checked the time to see that it has only been thirty minutes since Liam dropped me off so maybe the event was still happening. I turned around to see Katie shoot the security guard just as the cab pulled up.
"To the Zinnia Building! Step on it please!" I half told half begged the driver as I shut the door. As he pulled away from the curb Katie ran out of the building. I let out a breath, my breathing was completely uneven.
"Miss?" I looked at the cab driver to see he was offering me a towel. "You should put that on your hand or you'll bleed out." I smiled at the night old man and took it from him mumbling a thank you. I looked down to see that the cut in my hand was deeper than I thought, he was right I would bleed out. I gripped the towel in my hand and looked out the window. 45 minutes later and he was pulling up outside the Zinnia Building, I thanked him once again and gave him the money before shutting the door and running inside. The only people who were left behind were Gus and Niall, they both looked over at me as my bare feet patted against the stone floor.
I rushed over to them looking behind me just to make sure Katie didn't also catch a ride. Looking behind me caused me to trip on a piece of my dress, Gus caught me against him before I could fall. "Jessica what happened?" He asked, both of them looked confused and concerned as their eyes scanned over my body.
"Where is she!?"
Gus stood up and walked to the foyer where Harry was, I could see him clearly. His hair was messed up and he was in grey sweatpants and a black tee shirt. "Harry calm down, she's a little shaken up and you acting like this won't help her. She's in the living room."
