Angel's POV

I totally forgot that my mom was having her bestfriend and her bestfriend's son over for dinner. Her son, Daniel, is really cute and I've had a crush on him for years. I have a feeling that he likes me back but he won't do anything about it.

As I walked in the house I could already smell Tacos. "Hey sweetie how was school?"my mom asked. "It was good I guess".

"Did you talk to any boys?" My mom said while wiggling her eyebrow.

"Actually on my way home this boy bumped into me and we talked." Me and my mom are really close so I tell her everything almost.

"I bet you didn't say anything."Daniel says while walking out of my room with a glare.

"Why did you walk out of my room?"

"Because I was in there duh."

I roll my eyes and walk past him to get in my room. I wonder what that glare was about. Do you think he was jealous? Probably. "So who was the boy who bumped into you?" I squeaked and turned around. "Jeez Daniel don't do that! You scared me." Daniel chuckles but then got serious. "Seriously who was that boy you bumped into?" I smirked and said "awwe is little Daniel jealous?" "What no I'm -im just w-wondering." I laughed and said "The boy that bumped into me is Jacob." "Do you like him? Like do you think he's cute?" "Yes. He is really cute." Daniel's face fell when I said that. "See you at the dinner table." He said all sadly. Well that was weird.

"Dinner's ready! Come and eat!" My mom yelled even tho we were all in the living room watching the movie home. Daniel was still sad I don't know what I said to make him look like a sad puppy. He still looks cute sad. Just saying.

DANIEL'S POV

When angel said that she liked that Jacob kid I couldn't help but be sad. When the first time our parents had dinner together, which we do once a month, I was 6 and thats when I first met angel. Her hair was in a cute little braid and I've always liked her since then but I'm too scared to tell her. I think I'll tell her soon. Hiding my feelings for 9 years is getting tiring.
