Angel's POV

School went by really fast and before I knew it it's Friday! But what I'm really excited for is the date that I have on Saturday with Jacob! He was so nervous when he had asked me and it was so cute. "Hey ang... what are you so excited about?" "Oh hey mom. I have a question... is it ok if I go out on a date tomorrow?"

"So that's what your so excited about" I nod "you can. But! He has to come over here for a little bit so I can have a chat with... wait whose taking you out on this date?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "Jacob" "ooo jaaccoobb" I laugh "mom! Please don't embarrass me" she chuckles and says "I won't embarrass you.... too much" she winks and I groan.

"Oh by the way Daniel should be here right about-" she gets cut off by a knock on the door. "now" she laughs.

"Hey angel can I talk to you?"

"Umm sure we'll talk in my room"

We walk in my room and sit in the bed facing each other. "So what's up?"

Daniel is rubbing his hands together in his lap. something he does when he's nervous. (A/n I don't know if that's true or not but this is my story soo... 😂) "is everything ok? You've been acting weird all week." I say worried. "Everything is fine and sorry for acting weird its just.." he sighs "I don't know how to say this.. I don't know if you noticed or not but I'm really nervous." He says while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Just come out with it come on I can take it!" He laughs which makes me laugh.

"Alright here goes nothing.... I ... like you angel.. and I have since we were six years old."

I stare at him wide eyed. Wow never thought id hear him say that. Jeez. I like him too but I also like Jacob and we're going on a date tomorrow. What do I do what do I do???

"Arnt you going to say anything?"he asks extremely worried. Shit right I have to say something might as well come out with the truth.

"I like you too. Ever since we were six." Daniel's lips turned into a huge grin. "But" annd his face fell. "I like Jacob too and we're going on a date tomorrow..." I say sheepishly

"Your going on... a date... with Jacob...why?"

" Well I like him and I would be crazy to turn him down."

"Have fun on your date angel.. I knew I should've said this year's earlier I was just too scared and now... now I'm too late ... guess I'll have to wait some more because there's no way I'm giving up.. not at least until I have a chance. See you at school ang." He says sadly. "Wait Daniel I'm sorry" "no reason to be sorry it's my fault" he says with a sad smile and walks out of my room
