Daniel's POV

I pulled up into my mom's driveway and turned the car off. I got out of my car and slammed my door shut and hurried across to the other side to open Angel's door. What? Chivalry may be dead to other people but it's not to me.

"Why thank you." Angel says in an accent. I chuckle and shake my head at her silliness.

"Momma! I'm here with angel!" I yell as we walk through the front door. I still have the keys to my mom's house and to Angel's mom's house. I also have the keys to Angel's house. Same for angel too. Like she has my house key...

"Hey mom." I say as I walk into her room and give her a hug.

"Hey Danny. Hey angel." My mom says Turning to angel to give her a hug.

"Hey momma skye." Angel says.

"I made cake pops for you guys." My mom says motioning us to go into the living room. "Sit down and I'll go and get them." We nod and sit down. "So how are you doing angel?" My mom says as she comes back with the cake pops and hands one to me and angel and then puts them on the coffee table.

"Um.. I'm still heartbroken." She says with a sad smile. My mom rushes over to angel and pulls her into a hug.

"Oh honey you guys were such a good couple." My mom says while holding angel at arms length and gives her a sad smile.

"Mom." I say trying to get her to stop. She gets the hint but says something worse.

"But you and Danny would be a better couple." She says giving me a wink.

"Mom!" I say embarrassed.

"It's ok danny." Angel says putting her hand on my knee. "How so momma skye." Ok.. she wants to humor my mother about this.

"I mean you guys known each other your whole lives. Wouldn't hurt to give him a chance while your waiting on Jacob to come back. IF he even comes back." Angel tenses beside me and my eyes widened.

"Ok! Me and angel are going to go to the movies and we're going to see central intelligence." I say standing up and grabbing Angel's hand.

"We are?" Angel asks confused . I nod

"Bye mom. Love you talk to you later."

"Bye momma skye."

"Angel wait. I'm sorry for what I said." My mom apologies.

Angel gives my mom a smile. "No worries you were just giving your opinion."

"I'm sorry about what my mom said." I say breaking the silence in the car.

"It's OK. Like I said she was just giving her opinion. She could be right. Who knows if Jacob will come back. And she's also right, we have known each other for all our lives." I smile at her words. "Do you think the movie will be good?"she wonders.

I look at her and then the road. "I don't know we'll have to find out." I say with a smile.
