A/N I honestly have forgotten how his character acts. It's been so long since I've watched the movie so sorry if this isn't right.
"No one understands me", your best friend, Martin says in frustration. You knew his parents thought he was a good for nothing, which you thought was wrong. To you Martin was a ray of sunshine. When he's around he brightens your day. You had feelings for him, no one knew and you sure as hell weren't going to tell him. He was having a hard time and you thought if you told him you would make things worse for him.
"I understand you", you replied. He looked up at you and gave you a small smile.
He wasn't okay which also made you not okay either.
"No you don't Y/N, my parents hate me. They think I'm useless and a good for nothing. It hurts to know that they have no faith in me", he said letting tears fall from his eyes.
You sat next to him and hugged him. "I have faith in you, and that's all you need. You are worth more than anyone. You are amazing and don't let anyone tell you other wise. I mean, you're parents are just worried that you can't find a job or a house but that doesn't make you useless"
You looked into his eyes and he did as well. You leaned on but realized what you were doing and so you turned to look at the picture he had on his night stand. It wasn't a good time to tell him. He was hurting.
But not telling him was also hurting you.
You sighed.
"Y/N, you're the best friend anyone could ever have. I love you and thank you for everything", Martin said. You smiled.
"I love you too and you're welcome. I will always be here for you. No matter what", you said and you meant it. You love Martin, as a friend or more. How could you not love him. He's so beautiful and funny. You were just so in love with him but he is your best friend, you couldn't ruin that.
