you.

i saw you standing in the middle
of the side
walk looking at a map you
were holding in
both your arms.
i smiled at the fact that
you were struggling with the map.
it's 2017 and someone was
still using a map to get
around new york.
i didn't know whether
i should help you or not. you looked up at the tall buildings sign.
you shook your head and continued to look around the map.
i couldn't take the fact that you were struggling so i went up to you.
"hi, i'm sebastian"

"oh, hi! i'm so glad you came. i'm y/n. nice to meet you. ive been
looking for my hotel and i cant seem to find it. you see i'm from texas and being here makes me really nervous. i'm visiting my cousin actually.
she moved here about three years ago and i wanted to come see her. she has a kid now, which is great. oh my goodness i didn't realize i was talking way too much. ill shut up now", you said.
i couldn't stop staring at the way you moved your lips.
it was the cutest thing i had ever seen. that was my favorite thing about you.
when you were nervous you would go on and on about random things and sometimes they wouldn't even make any sense.

"don't worry. it was cute", i said and i saw your cheeks turned a light shade of pink which made me smirk.
i didn't want to seem cocky.

"so what's the hotels name?", i asked. she took out a slip of paper from her front pocket and handed it to me.
i opened the piece of paper and nodded.
