You sat in silence, staring at the small stick with the words "pregnant" on it. You were afraid of what Bucky might think. You two have been together for almost two years but it still was too soon to be having a child. You had no idea how or what you would tell Bucky.
Suddenly your phone began to ring. You looked at the your phone, which was beside you. It was Steve. Steve has been your friend for a long time. Ever since Natasha introduced you two. Steve was actually the one who got you and Bucky together, since both of you were to chicken to tell each other how you felt.
"Hello", you answered.
"Bucky was wondering why you didn't answer his messages and his calls", he said. You sighed.
"Steve, I'm pregnant", you managed to say. Silence.
"Who's is it?", he asked. You wanted to slap him for asking that.
"Who else, Steve? It's Bucky's", you sighed.
"Is that why you've been ignoring me?", you heard a familiar voice coming from the other side of the phone. Your heart stopped.
Steve had the phone on speaker the whole time but of course you wouldn't know.
You stayed quiet. "I'm coming over", he said and hung up.
You were too afraid of what Bucky might think that you began to ignore him the whole day, ever since you took the test.
Minutes later you heard a soft knock. You knew who it was so you didn't bother to check who it was before you opened.
Bucky stood there. No expression, what so ever.
He didn't want this. You assumed.
"Why didn't you tell me right after you took the test?", he asked walking into your house. He stood right in front of you. You looked up at him. "I was scared", you said truthfully.
He chuckled. "Why? It's a privilege to have a beautiful child with you. I love you and this little one that's growing inside you", he said pulling you into a hug. His metal arm was cold which made you shiver. You felt safe with him though.
You didn't know why you were so afraid of telling the love of your life this. After all, he's whipped.
IT SHORT I KNOW. I HAVE MANY MORE ONE SHOTS PLANNED JUST WAIT FOR IT. I've been doing homework (yes hw, during summer) and I've also been traveling. I promise I'll have more updates soon.
